The last one is so relatable. I got a Wii in 2012 which doesn’t have GameCube support. That’s why I got a GameCube in early 2014 to play Mario Kart Double Dash and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

I love my GameCube, don't get my wrong. I just enjoy the cartridge games more than discs. Discs can become scratched and unplayable. Sure, you can repair them with a resurface machine, but you can only do that so many times. With cartridges, you don't have that issue. They're pretty small too, so, they're prone to being lost when dropped. (Only time mine comes out is to go in my Switch, then right back into the respective case.)

As an avid Zelda fan and collector, seeing someone trade in an N64 and a GOLD copy of Ocarina of Time for a plain black GameCube and the Collectors edition may have been a great deal at the time but nowadays I would never give up an Ocarina of Time Gold.
