Also, there are some Dragon Quest fantranslation repro-carts for the SNES and one for GBA and they're REALLY good! If you like RPGs you should definitely check them up, especially Dragon Quest III for the Super Nintendo!

Majesty ZX I know, the prime example is Pier Solar for the Genesis ^^ But often those homebrews are just hacks of existing games and finding a repro-cart of one that isn't a hack isn't easy...

Ruko Michiharu Noooo! no no no no. Homebrews and hacks are two completely different things. Hacks can be very intricate, like legend of link, but at the end of the day, that's still a hack. Homebrews are a completely different beast, they're built 100% from the ground up. Reggie did not show any homebrews in this video at all (outside of felix, but that's more of a port). I played Clock Tower a few years ago, and it was pretty intense. Having little to no bgm really upped the tension.

Only repro cart I own is Splatterhouse Wanpakku Graffiti on the NES. It's a great game, lots of humour and references to classic horror movies. Also the zombie MJ that flips you off after doing the thriller dance is pretty hilarious.

Bishop Bros has a really good selection of games. I had been searching the internet on where to buy those repro nes games and was having no luck with my search. Thank you for making this video it helped me out a lot and in the end will save me from paying the god awful Ebay prices for NES repos!

That's awesome Reggie, can't imagine how that feels to be in a NES game ! Congrats man ^_^ It's always nice to try those games, they are made by fans and it's sometimes interesting, although I hate the difficult ones just to be difficult, they totally destroy the experience, but there are a lot of good hacks out there specially Mega Man ones. I played a lot of hacks & homebrews on PC and Emulators, never on physical media, I'd rather complete my retail collection and clear my wanted list, maybe sometimes soon, but I'd love to have at least one of those repros, but not an expensive one.

Nightmare Busters on the SNES. It plays like Metal Slug. It was a cancelled game back in the day, like Star Fox 2. I enjoy thus game very much. If you're into side scrolling shooting games like Metal Slug or Contra you'll love thus game too.
