To be honest, the biggest game of 2025 for Nintendo has to be a Mario title-whether it's a 3D Mario game or Mario Kart. It's Mario's 40th anniversary, which marks one of the biggest milestones since 1985, when the first Super Mario game was released. It’s got to be a Mario game, whether it’s Mario Kart or a 3D Mario. The problem with taking a video game and slapping open world on top of it is that it has to make sense with the series. Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon made sense because you were already exploring worlds. Star Fox isn't about that, its about high scores, flying through obstacles, vehicles, guns, dog fighting and on rails gameplay. Open world and on rails are polar opposite gameplay genres so extremely different feels.

I think that the next 3d Mario game is going to be the biggest one of 2025. If they don’t make another one, which I am certain they will, it will probably be Luigi’s Mansion 4, if Nintendo makes that which again I am certain they will, I just don’t see how they wouldn’t.

Metroid Prime 4 will likely be an excellent game, but it won't come close in sales to be the biggest game of the year when we know a Pokemon Game is coming. We also know the Prime 1 remake was ok sales and Dread was the bets ever and it was still fine but not better. It's silly to even suggest Prime 4 has a chance.

Yes, that would be a great idea! My father and I have both played and quite liked Starfox 64 and I happen to have Starfox Zero on my Wii U (the other console I have) and I didn't realise that no game in that series has been uploaded since then. I am still yet to play that and I am sort of bummed that a bit was spoiled but that's not a big deal. Yes, surely this franchise will thrive.

I'm so excited for Nintendo in 2025 with their big games like 3D Mario, Mario Kart 9 or X, Pokémon Z-A, and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. Cause for Mario Kart I would like to see them add Kirby in the next Mario Kart game just seeing being a playable driver with his WarpStar and having a Dreamland track for him which would be cute. But yeah we know Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond that are coming to Switch but if HAL does show the next 3D Kirby which is a sequel to Kirby and the Forgotten Land and that new 2D Kirby Game that is a fake leaked then I would make those the big Nintendo Games in 2025. But yeah I hope 2025 for Nintendo will a good year for them when they show us the Switch 2.
