Is the battery change and save storage the same for the nes games that save?

For the most part... yes. when the N64 came out, some had batteries, and some used a non-volatile memory.

I don't mind the concept of reproduction carts as long as they aren't trying to look like an original.

I agree. I know there are some games... Like Earthbound... that I would want to play on real hardware... but don't want to drop $300 to try it. I just wish they would stick to making the carts a different color... or having a real way of knowing. Some are very close unless you crack them open. With that said... some of the high ends DS and 3DS carts are almost impossible to tell. Thanks for watching.

Is it possible to solder a battery on a bootleg cartridge that doesn´t have it? I have bootleg super mario world. Great vid btw

Some of them you can... it just depends if there is a save memory chip in it or not.
