It just made it so that I gradually got used to the alarm being on and didn't actually wake up when it went off. So for me I don't see the utility of an alarm that is not alarming. I've already seen the Nintendo Switch 2 graphics. The Nintendo Switch 2 would be able to handle gta6. I don't know if you guys will get to see it, but it is powerful. I checked, they confirm it's not an actual camera. There are other ways to detect movement that use stuff like detecting rapid changes in infrared emission or bouncing microwaves off things and measuring how long they take to return (these are safe, your wifi uses microwaves). My guess is that because your body probably isn't moving too far IR rapid changes might not work unless the sensor is very sensitive, so they probably use microwaves? Ultrasound is possible too but it might upset pets.
