You just need to play with them. Dude has put thousands of hours into the game and it just takes practise, if you played a lot you’d be good! Don’t put yourself down because you think he is better than you. Keep on playing on you’ll become a pro like DUDE!

And dont even get me started when this happens after you: 1) get abismal teammates or throwers losing you games; 2) are consistently matched against a top player carrying the other team; 3) you somehow win a game and get 4 points with 25 kills on your end; 4) next game does not happen because the p2p host disconnects. And that's how you finish placement in the 1950s range, after finishing end of month a day earlier ranged in the 2450s. AMAZING, RIGHT?

That's a 1*! That means that they just reset their ranking progress after advancing through 99 levels, allowing them to get Super Sea Snails again.

It's only fair because you may have pulled the plug when you were losing, and the Nintendo servers didn't know the progress of the game. Not to mention, but the higher you get the harder it gets to gain points. so 2737 might not be accurate either. It may literally be impossible to reach 3000+. If your team is highly favored and you win, you gain few points, if your team is favored but lose you lose many points. so If you are so good you are always on the favored team (and highly favored at that) you have little upwards mobility.

Pretty sure Splatoon lobbies players from all countries, no matter the version you play. I play the US version and get matched with JP players in ranked all the time. (And I know they're JP because of exclusive gear)
