Fingers crossed no more drift issues. It was so common that they were willing to repair Joycon's even if your Switch was out of warranty. I was about to send my son''s red Joycon off, however I've not heard great things about Nintendo UK's customer support when sending in Joycons to be repaired so weren't prepared to take the risk and lose it. I purchased a Joycon stick replacement toolkit for a tenner and fixed it myself!

Heard loads of negativity regarding the drift controller problems… luckily never had it myself but that said don’t use my switch as much as I should 😂

Pretty underwhelming not a fan on some games not being backwards compatibley. I have an orginal switch I might just buy an oled when it's dirt cheap hopefully switch 1 games will be cheaper

The big selling point is portable power play which while there is other devices about generally, none are what Nintendo supports officially. Presuming it is at least above PS4 then it will please as still got what is coming out for that and Xbox One. Depending on your taste, super realistic visuals is not always the most eye catching thing. When there is more beyond the realism artistery to how something is presented, that can please in its own form. Even the current Switch range of Mario can benefit from sharper presentation and higher quality as a whole that should make for gorgeous imagery.

It feels more like moving from the Xbox One to a Series S. It looks a little more refined and I'm sure it'll be more capable but hardly a generation jump. More like a mid gen style upgrade. I'll probably get one eventually to replace my OG Switch but won't be in any hurry. Keep up the awesome work OG :-)

Safe but the best bet. We don't always need innovation, it's all about the software. Nintendo are on to something with this hybrid console but the switch is so underpowered. If this gets us more juice to be able to play better looking games on the go, I think they will be just fine.

I personally think it will sell well though not as well as the first Switch. It all depends on the software though.

I honestly believe all the worries from people will soon dissappear when it is released. The library of third party games due out on switch 2 are amazing. Imagine on launch day being able to buy ( Rumoured ) Red dead redemption 2, Elden ring, Fallout 4, Starfield, call of duty and Halo. There is more than that due too.

I think we've reached a point where things won't be that big a difference between consoles anymore. Saying that i've never played a switch but i'd like to imagine 2 will have stronger graphic games otherwise whats the point? Xbox, ps5, i really don't see much difference at all? Maybe it's just me but i don't feel like consoles can move forward aside from cosmetic looks of the consoles. Maybe switch 2 will have higher fps and load times? Compared to 1. As it stands i don't see much between them. Time will tell!

I see this like a NES > SNES or PS1 > PS2 transition. It's updating the existing formula that's proven so successful. More of the same, but able to play more recent, demanding games. And the mouse option might finally make FPS and Strategy games more appealing on the move... I think we'll be seeing Halo and Civilisation games in the first year of launch; and I'll be buying them both day one. The Wii relied on innovation/gimmickry that everybody loved, but the Wii U introduced an extra layer of innovation/gimmickry that people either weren't interested in, or didn't understand. Wii U was difficult to explain... I reckon the marketing dept will have it fairly easy with Switch 2. Anyway, cheers OG, keep up the good work fella! 🍻

I think it could be good bcuz everyone’s been moaning abt the switch being to long but I think it’s a sorta new Wii u a upgraded Wii u according to leakers u can connect to the dock wirelessly to have a second screen but I’m excited for it cuz I love my Wii u more than anything so it will be nice to have a portable Wii u

As I said in your stream - give me a new Zelda or Animal Crossing!) and I will not be able to resist a Switch 2 purchase. I know it doesn't get too much love but I feel as though the Playstation Portal has really taken over from my Switch when it comes to playing games in bed/on the sofa.

I hope it isn't like the Wii to Wii U and the 3DS to the 'New 3DS' (remember that - it only had 8 releases!!). Personally, I really think it will depend on the performance and ability to play more demanding multi-format games. It simply has to have a bigger HD, at least 1tb. Nintendo has failed in this aspect in recent generations. The Wii had 512mb of storage against the default PS3's 60gb and 360's 20gb, the Wii U's had 8gb and 32gb and the Switch's had 32gb and 64gb. It might not bother little kids who will delete games and save files willy-nilly but older folk don't like doing that just to play a new game. A lot of people will want to know if it supports 4k resolutions too - one video I saw earlier said it won't even be as powerful as an Xbox Series S. I guess until more concrete details are revealed and the launch lineup is revealed, we won't really know!

Yep seems to be a lack of info officially released and considering it’s out in April that will soon be round…. Heard somewhere that the controllers may have a mouse type effect? This could be good for Strategy type games… But we are gonna have to wait and see… Launch titles will be interesting ?

@ Yeah, the controllers can be used like a mouse. Might be ok if there are some strategy style games? Seems such short notice as everyone will naturally expect a new Mario, Mario Kart, Metroid, Zelda and Pokémon…….and I’m not convinced we’ll get any except Mario Kart. Here’s hoping!

I'm honestly let down by Nintendo these days, they release a poor choice selection of classic games which you have to pay for separately if you want to play the classic games but the lack of choice does not make it worth it, the fact Pokemon isn't even part of any of them is shocking to say the least, you can't buy any classic roms either it's all subscription, the flip grip which allows you to play the Nintendo Switch Vertically and could make it possible for the Switch to sell and provide virtual DS and 3DS games and Roms but again it's lost on them, Nintendo make it harder and harder to preserve retro games and for this reason people do go the homebrew route which is sad, Nintendo could make so much money and I feel people would do it through official means if they could. When Pokemon games have been so bad recently Nintendo have just striked other games like Palworld for the fact it has Monster catching and rather see the fault in their own games, looked at hurting other companies for dare doing something they never had the rights for in the first place. The Switch 2 will do nothing to innovate, it will just be more powerful

@OGDuffy definitely the name wii U was part of its failure, as most people especially parents just thought the tablet was a accessory! to the origanl wii ! At lest they learnt there lesson and named this the switch 2 !
