Things confirmed in new mario kart from teaser trailer. -New updated designs more inline with renders and art of the characters from the 90s. -24 player races -Mario,Luigi,Donkey Kong,Bowser,Peach,Daisy,Yoshi,Koopa,Toad,Toadette,Baby Characters, Wario, Waluigi, Pauline, Rosalina, King Boo, Shy Guy, Birdo, Lakitu, Bowser Jr. -New features such as smoke kicking up behind the cart when drifting, Cart Jumping returns last one was Mario Kart Ds -Coins return -New heart item under Burger joint side path -Looks like background characters update at the framerate of the game(im guessing is 60 could have a 75fps mode who knows)compared to 8 deluxe where they ran at 30fps -New boost pad and boost effects -Wider tracks to accommodate for 24 players -Possibly tracks are much longer with checkpoints instead of doing laps 3 times over(end of the teaser to the right on the dirt track you can see a flag post meaning either thats an alternate path so theres 2 ways to win or the track eventually loops through the horizon and back to there, at the start of the teaser there was a way to go left or right. -Vehicles and background objects look more detailed with their own detailed shadows -anti gravity looks absent Characters and karts lean to which side you are difting on -No peach motor suit? Shes just in her dress.
