I feel that if Nintendo doesn't give us a Switch 2 direct in October and waits till 1st quarter 2025 we would be looking at an early fall or holiday 2025 release. Seeing how the Hyrule Switch Lite didn't sell out instantly and is readily available I'm thinking that might be all the more reason we get a Switch 2 direct in October.

It seems logical that it'll be announced before the Earnings Meeting on November 5th. If they want the finance boost for the company, it seems a good time. Also matches up with a similar release schedule of the original Switch with an October announcement and March-ish reveal.

They could do a first look event and broadcast from the Nintendo Museum within the first or second week of the museum’s existence (so possibly 10/3 or 10/10). It would be a good way to keep up enthusiasm and offering a special event. Something of a “here’s our past, but how about a look at the future” kind of thing. Even if they don’t reveal this month, Nintendo HAS to do a Direct this month. By this time of year (even pre-Switch), we usually knew what first party games were coming until at least the following April or May. The furthest out that we know of a defined Switch release right now is January with Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Nintendo might be willing to sacrifice February if we’re getting a ton of March stuff including Switch 2. But probably not also March, April, May, June, etc. They’ve got to start filling out the first party releases for 2025.

No! it won't be revealed next month! Why should it? The current switch is doing fine. Nintendo doesnt see the point of a reveal. The reason why the current switch was revealed early, is because they were coming from a failed wii u, so they had to show something. Switch 2 will be revealed next year. They just dropped the hyrule Edition Switch lite and a new zelda game. They want those things to sell well into next year. I do think October (this month) is very likely for Nintendo to announce the Nintendo Switch successor. But I'm keeping my expectations low though because is Nintendo we're talking about after all, nothing is comfirmed until they say something themselfs. If it doesn't happend in October then I think January 2025. Maybe November but I highly doubt it.

Personally I get tired of searching KZbin for Switch content and all I see is the same 5 people putting out daily rumor content. The stuff I want to see like. What do people think about the new Zelda? What secrets have they found? Mario/Lugi Brother ship is on the way, what's your favorite game in the series and why was it special to you. I search switch for some content with some effort and I can't find it under a sea of people spouting the same gossip. Even when I get to the bottom of the KZbin barrel there are 100s of people with around 5k subs repeating this same stuff. We need some creativity. So you can come at me with "Dont click on it if you don't like it" all you want. Putting my opinion out there and clicking the down vote is how I give my feedback and hope these people try something new.

Ah, NOO, because we still got more Nintendo IP games coming this year still and i dont see a reveal at all this year just because the Switch was revealed back in 2016 doesnt automantily mean the Switch's sucsessor will do the same month, because the reason why the Swithc was revealed on October because Paper Mario: Color Splash was the last Wii U's exclusive title to be released on the same month as the Switch's reveal, so i dont see the Switch's sucsessor to be revealed on the same month since the Switch still has more Switch exclusive titles coming on November and likely SOME on next year, so dont see a reveal to happen till the last Switch Nintendo IP exclusive game is released on the same month as the Switch's sucsessor's reveal.
