Yeah I don't think we are going to get a console reveal in the middle of the year. Especially if it's not coming out till next year. I mean Nintendo has Pokemon legends za lined up for 2025 for the switch. I believe Nintendo is going to support the current switch with software through 2025 like they've said before. So we won't see the next console even announced until 2025 with a holiday release in 2025 or a spring 2026 release. I'm not getting my hopes up right now though. I just want to know when the next direct will happen to see what the second half of the year looks like. But I also know Japan is in a recession so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get another direct until the summer.

Why would Nintendo announce a Switch 2 before Christmas 2024 selling season? They have current gen hardware to dispose of first, and software developers need more time to finish Switch 2 games anyway. There Is No Date Until Nintendo announces it-period.

I think it will be announced this year at the very least. Nintendo is clearly in a cooling period for the time being - most of their recent games are remakes and we know nothing about what’s coming up after June.

I disagree, Nintendo very often follows What's called the logic of safety which in business means that if something worked before it can work again. They want to really be careful with this next release and what's for sure is that the release of the Switch worked. There was about 6 months between when people first saw the Switch and then could buy it, so if they're expecting to release in early 2025 then it would make sense to expect a reveal in fall 2024

Endless ocean luminous is not a port or a remaster. It’s a new entry into the series. At this point, as I’ve said time and time again, my focus is on the current switch specifically my switch OLED and I’m enjoying the games that I currently have and looking forward to the games that are coming out for it that we know about so far. Let’s just wait and see what Nintendo has because there must be a clearly reason for Nintendo‘s silence because they have something big coming up so let’s just focus on the games that are coming up rather than talking about a next gen system that Nintendo hasn’t even officially acknowledged yet. And I have to disagree that this which doesn’t have a heavy hitter, I would probably say paper Mario the thousand year door is the closest closest thing we have to a heavy hitter this year maybe not on the level of tears of the kingdom but I still think it’s reason enough to steal buying Nintendo switch especially because the price that the GameCube original goes for.

It would be awesome to see Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal in later this year like in the Last Nintendo Direct 2024 in september, but it will be relased in Spring 2025. Revealved Pokémon Legends ZA, Teased New Mario Kart game and unknown upcoming new Super Mario Game would be great relase games for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo have been a surprisilly silence for a long time, I believe they hiding something. We really lives an amazing and interesting Times in History of Nintendo. 😮😊

Nintendo needs to launch their new Switch as soon as possible because from 2024 standards 4 Gb ram, 64 Gb rom, 30 fps and LCD display, all of these feel kinda outdated. In 2017 having these features in a console was a big deal but not anymore.

@@abirdas2842 because they lost the arms race and almost flopped, if not more or less fine sales of 3ds and switch, Nintendo as a long standing company would die and all her studios would be stolen by various corporations, Nintendo is not having rivalry with PS or xbox, because xbox or ps don't put an existential threat upon Nintendo, other handhelds aren't exactly competitors as steam, asus and others have no unique handheld ecosystem, Nintendo will renovate their arms race only when some big new player will create unique ecosystem that can put the threat upon them, btw xbox or ps handheld won't do so, their handhelds won't be innovative, so Nintendo is calm like the sea, because they can always be far away from the current technological leaps and they will still be fine, because third party cannot abandon Nintendo and first party has never been an issue for Nintendo, switch has already shown it can even run ps 4 games by downgrading graphics, the same approach is going to be used with next gen switch, you should keep in mind that in 2 years xbox releases their next gen and sony will do it 4 years after, it means switch 2 or whatever it is going to be called will be a past past gen console like our current switch is, people feel happy that Nintendo gonna have a console as strong as xone or ps 4, but they forget that xone, ps4 are long time dead, in 1 year after the release of switch 2 xbox series will also be dead, and in 3 years sony will say bye bye to ps 5 gen and when switch 2 will come through the half of its gen ps 5 will die and ps 6 gonna step in, so yeah, i guess my idea is clear
