The fact that the battles start instantly and go by quickly is such a huge improvement over the original release. Loading times for battles were atrocious. I appreciate you guys continuing to work on the game when you really didn’t have to. Really looking forward to I.V

I wish this had been an independent re-release, like the Special Edition versions of Devil May Cry and Persona. Even if the greater plot is still the same, everything from the characters to the combat has been completely overhauled. Excellent work; I'd buy the game twice!

Honestly I was worried the switch hardware wouldn’t be able to keep up with the I.V. update. It’s where I got my first copy so I was planning to play the update on it too! Great work if you’ve managed to keep everything optimised across all platforms!

Daaaamn, keeping battle mode loaded in RAM is a really creative way to circumvent load times without having to totally overhaul a bunch of code. Very excited for the launch! Will we get a release date soon?

Tbh 1.25 is worth playing. Combat isn't terrible, but if you ask me, wind town is where things get sorta dicey.

we're finishing the PS4 version and then we can release it. Other versions are done. We're nearly there. We had some stuff that happened in our personal lives that made us lose three weeks. Thanks for your patience and remembering that we're just two people making a game at our kitchen table.

Alex yiik in the real world posted a screenshot of a discord message where linguisticspaceship quotes the developers saying that they ran into issues with the ps4 version and are taking two weeks to fix it before sending in the release canidate. That was posted about two weeks ago so i assume the canidate is ethier being approved rn or they just needed more time. Ik thats alot of hearsay but none of the people involved seem untrustworthy and i thought you would like to know.

I love the fact that when you kill the skull a skeleton pops out. Everything seems to be immensely improved, but I do have to ask. Are the fonts, dialogue box and karta sprites used final? or would they have some sort of retro feel to them in some later update? The dialogue box and font used could use some rework to make it far better by choosing different styles and fonts. As for the Karta I would ignore it since it is just implemented in the game. I get the feeling that my nitpicks were most likely placeholders for more refined stuff, since when you compare the retro look of the game to the sudden weird text boxes it feels incomplete. I'm sure you know your stuff, and I could be overreacting. But all in all, absolutely amazing job. With how different it is just from the other videos the previous version (1.0) might as well be considered an alpha build with how everything improved. Good job!

i just beat the demo for yiik nameless psychosis and they took out like 80% of the really long dialogue -- tho vibrating with motion is still in there iirc lol
