It was Four Swords Anniversary (DSi, 3DS) that let you control two Links in singleplayer, either following you or swaping. That same mechanic came from Four Swords Adventures, a totally different game only playable on Gamecube and Wii, not Wii U.

Finally I can try to beat Perfect Dark again. I almost beat it years ago on my N64 but I had no idea how to beat the Skedar leader especially with him firing that rocket launcher staff.

Once you mark the 3 randomly selected pillars which are then destroyed by Elvis, blow up the remaining pillars with the grenade launcher (don't waste your ammo!). Once you do that, a Phoenix handgun will spawn near the entrance to the trench. The Phoenix has an alt fire function that can shoot explosive shots. Use the explosive shots to blow up the rockets from the Skedar leader once it fires the scepter. Once you have to make a weapon sacrifice to open a door, just drop your Falcon 2. The Phoenix is a considerably better handgun.

This is awesome, but there's practically no point to playing Turok because the 2015 remaster is also on Switch. But I guess if you're fine with no spending some extra bucks and don't mind the lower framerate and 4:3 aspect ratio, then go ahead and play the NSO version.
