I'm hoping its either controller or the wire, but a pro controller I have is not charging at the dock station I have, even though its charging the Switch. Wondering if this charging thing is something I should look into getting

That is why I'm here... What kind of wall adapter is safe for charging a power A controller???? What's to many volts and what's not enough.. nobody seems to have covered this topic considering the powerA controller only comes with a cord and no direction of wall charging. Not everyone has OG switch to charge from

We can only imagine its designed use was to be plugged into the Switch dock, but I feel an Apple USB power brick could also work but I am not sure, and test at your own risk. I will say I highly doubt joycons getting fried from something like that, but still.

I thought this was a cheap alternative to the Hori controller dock, well, turns out it‘s a lot more expensive here in Germany as always...do you think it‘s worth 30€/$33?

You probably meant that it is more expensive, and as a fellow german I can relate the struggle with prices being higher. Although I have no detailed information on your current switch situation I would say that in most home TV setups this charging station does what it is supposed to do - charging your devices- and it is doing that just fine. But you should not expect a High-End product (I don't think you are but just saying). I have to admit that I got a bit carried away and off-topic as you were just asking about it being worth it if you made it to this point I apologize for wasting your time but in conclusion, I can say it is worth 30€. Came here looking for this question/answer. IDK about you but the dongle doesn't fit the powera wireless pro controller. I have a TOZ version of both so they look cool together, but it can't charge.

Mine randomly lights up... Even with no controllers on it... 🤷

I believe the indicator light is red regardless of if there's a controller docked or not to show that it has power--if it's turning green that's pretty odd. - Aaron

The lights will usually be off if the controller is off, then at different hours of the night, it'll start flashing red for a few seconds, then stop.

Is there one where it holds just two pro controller?

Do yours change the Joy Con lights from green to red when you put on a Pro Controller even if the Joy Cons are fully charged? I don't know if it's something to worry about or not.
