Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Clone Revisited!!!

Just bought it, and am not disappointed. For almost 1/3 of the price, this has; No delay, About 20h battery, and feels and weights as if I had the original pro controller in my hands! Update: Do not buy it anymore, after a couple switch updates these last weeks, one of them rendered my controller useless and unable to connect to the switch anymore.

@@BlayzedBlue yes there are dead zones, and have no problem playing my games like BOTW, and a couple of fps games. The sensitivity is on par with the OG switch pro controller!

it's funny because when i first saw your original video of the clone reviews. i bought the xeno clone one and compared it to my real xeno controller and found out it worked just as good (aside from the no amiibo and wakeup) i even ended up using the clone more because at times i like the clicky buttons more AND something that i know you did not mention in your reviews is that the clone analog sticks in my opinions feels much better than the official ones (idk why, maybe it's just me but i like those grips that feels like it's fresh no matter how many hours you put into it, and yes these ones stay literally the same feel).. also i get to abuse the clone controller more too :). having said that i am glad you made a new video and reupdating the status of these review for the knockoff nswitch controller :)

@@drkz4ck nope, its good. Considering i am well in range 6 ft from my bed projected to the wall and seat while docked for tv. The analog stick is actually even better in terms of accuracy. Now what i mean about this is if you go search analog stick probs for the pro controllers you'll notice right away that the real one usually either have drift problems or they dont go 100% to the direction of input. For some reason thesr clones are well adjusted lols. However i do notice that they are less sensitive when sliding as in when holding slowly to position (slow tilting if you put it that way); the real one is able to, and the clone one you can as well but you gotta try extra hard if you want to move slowly.

@@daihanviet I was looking into PowerA controllers, but owners often complain about analog stick drifting after a few weeks. Now I'm considering these ones. With these I can spare my originals when I don't need them, I get to have more controllers and also enjoy the pretty colors of the xenoblade2 edition lol.

could it be the shells are actually the real deal just minus the branding because copyright issues? does a the insides of a real controller fit? that way you could get semi-real limited controller with nfc and wake from sleep.

I heard that many are just replicas of the original with the exception of not having the nfc function for amibo, me personally I don't use the amibo function so it's better for me.

@@dragonblaze7133 It's very likely these were made in the same factory's using the same materials, and the same molds. The major difference I think is the internals and quality control.

They are made by the same manufacturers that make the original Pro controller, but the only diffirence is that there isn't much quality control on the production process and there is no branding. So it is practically original but kind of like the scraps, it's the leftover parts. But original parts but shitty work out into it and less intensive labour making it cheaper to produce.

​@@bloooper They are not the same components inside so while the casings are the same, it is likely not made in the same factory as the original. At least not with the original components inside. Definitely not with the leftover parts as you mentioned. I do own it and it does work very well so definitely worth the price. It does have a dead-zone in the analog sticks but I haven't had any issues with that. The rumble motor is also of lower quality than the original so it's definitely not an "HD Rumble" but I don't care about the rumble quality at all and battery life and capacity is a little lower than the original but still pretty good.

I just got the fake Xenoblade one, since I already own the real Splatoon and Smash ones. I just noticed that the Fake One has that Thxtoallgamesfans branding inside the right joystick as well. Crazy detail :)

Great review. In the market to get some controllers for kids. Did a search on eBay by found some of the listings say *"no gyroscope support". That means no motion control, right? Since your review indicates that feature is there. So I suppose there are now subversion of the clone.

Karambadodox: Yes. Any Switch controller (Pro/Joycons) will connect to a PC as a generic gamepad. Steam will recognize them or if you want a more encompassing compatibility across your PC as a whole you can download "BetterJoyForCemu". It's a small program that when running, will automatically convert a pro or joycon controller(s) into an "Xbox 360 Controller".

@@edmund8954 : Unfortunately, short of getting a USB adapter for your device for a hard connection, I'm not sure of suggestions. It lags for me on phones too! I'm not sure of your phone, but I'm an Android user instead of iOS with an S8 as my primary phone, but have an old S6 I use with a phone clip to stream my PC games to, but my Pro Controller lags on BOTH of them. Point being, I'm not sure a Pro Controller would work well with phones or tablets and I'm not sure why?

I got one of these clones that was priced at about $45 bucks, problem was the guy claimed that it was legit so i told him if it was a fake i would ask for a full refund. True enough, when it arrived, it was a clone and i got my refund. It does feel....decent but the rumble feels kinda off. I dont have a legit controller to compare it to but its so exagerrated compared to Joy cons. The controller had no secret message and motion controls doesnt always work.

Around 20hrs depending if you have HD Rumble on or not. Without HD Rumble (Which you should turn off since the vibration motors are horrible) you get maybe 24hrs.

If you are complaining about lack of NFC support and shitty HD Rumble, don't buy it and spend 3 times, well now 4 times more on an original. I mean after all, it has no quality control and it IS fake and these are buy at your own risk products. But would rather buy 4 and break them all than buy one original and break it in the same time. At least you have the chance to experience all of the designs, play with multiple people and also to smash them after they break or open it up and play around with it.

Víctor Orduño pues básicamente hace una nueva comparación de mandos replica con el original. Donde explica que son prácticamente iguales en el tacto del mando y visualmente. Las grandes diferencias son en que no tienen NFC ni sleeping mode. También comenta que hizo una review sobre un mando clon en un vídeo anterior donde tuvo muchos problemas pero que una vez actualizado el firmware funciona perfectamente. Otra pequeńa diferencia minúscula era en el diseńo de la B. Pero que en líneas generales el funcionamiento es bueno y se puede comprar el mando con cierta confianza. I won't be buying any of these. The lack of NFC isn't a deal breaker, but the inability to wake from sleep most definitely is. I'd rather buy an official Switch Pro Controller, or if I want a third party controller, I can get something from 8bitdo, Hori, or PowerA. A few good examples include the PowerA Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch, as well as 8bitdo SN30 Pro(soon to be replaced by the SN30 Pro+)
