@dndforbeginners5 жыл бұрын
Do you have a screen protecter? nintendo recommends you don't use anything but water for the switch screen. If you have been using eye glass cleaner what type do you use and has it damaged your switch at all? I wanted to make a solution of water alcohol and dish soap to make a cleaner but I'm a bit concerned on causing damage.

How can i clean the corners of the screen on my switch?
@phuyoi4 жыл бұрын
idk if its just me, but like between the screen and the black lining, theres like dirt stuck in the creases, anyone know how to clean that without taking it apart?
@timothyle42484 жыл бұрын
The black lining you can try a thin paper or sticky note and go around it. Not all will come out as it varies how deep it is. Just be careful when cleaning. All other places you know. Q-tips, cloth, eye cleaner, air blower, etc.

Ive made a point to never ever touch the screen even though its a feature, but that still doesnt help when you sneeze from time to time, even when you look well away from the screen after a year it will build up those 1 - 2 particles that attach to the switch. Given the nature of the item and the price this is obviously a scary thing as its not an early 2000's device "IE its not built to last" I will be trying electronic wipes, does anyone have anything to say about this that might hurt the device?
@RitikGupta7 жыл бұрын
Put screen protector. You will reduce the quality of the screen if you repeatedly apply screen cleaners to it. I've ruined a tablet by washing it again and again whenever I saw a single dust particle on the screen of the tablet. Never take off the screen protector.
@mikeschmeeedotcom7 жыл бұрын
I've only use a very small amount of water, just a lightly damp microfibre cloth. A tempered glass screen protector has been purchased when the Switch was released but it has not been applied just yet.

Hey guys I have a quick question. So I was cleaning of my switch screen with a damp microfiber cloth and it showed some signs of being wet but it looked like the screen dissolved it. I wiped the screen around 6 times or so, and I turned it on after and everything is working normally. Would I know immediately if I had any water damage?
@uncreativeboogieman20125 жыл бұрын
Ritik Gupta Wait, so say you want to clean your screen that HAS a screen protector, would that still reduce the quality by a lot? Or is it good to clean often as long as there is a screen protector?

@mikeschmeeedotcom6 жыл бұрын
You can try a soft cloth like a kitchen towel or maybe a t-shirt. I think anything cotton will be adequate. But a micro-fibre would be best. You you have a laptop or smart phone? If you do and if you still have the original packaging, check it out as sometimes a piece of cloth comes with those particular items. Reading or sun glasses too come with a cloth as well. Either of those should work on the Switch.

If you're saying a air can duster, it might work, but you want to be carful around the screen when using it as the cold air could seep the dust into the screen itself. Just take caution of if it does get into the screen.
@MarioHartwellWhite3 жыл бұрын
i clean it, and more dust just falls on the switch infornt of my eyes! its a dust magnet AND a mobile console
@mikeschmeeedotcom3 жыл бұрын
That is unfortunate. Sorry to hear. Maybe try having an air purifier with a HEPA filter and/or vacuum your space much more often to keep dust to a minimum? Mine also gets dusty when I keep it out, but I usually store it in a thin container which keeps the Switch from getting dusty. At least after you've cleaned off the smudges and stubborn dust particles, you can always give the Switch a quick wipe to keep it dust free. Sadly, dust is everywhere and it's difficult to avoid it or have it completely removed. So, dust will always make its way onto the Switch, or any other object for that matter. Just clean the Switch more often I guess?
