Im new to this. What was that tool you used to shave the planks down to become more level? And the tool to cut the branches into 2x4’s?

At what angle you cut the legs to make them even and flat to the floor

would this be safe with thinner and longer branches with some bracing in between for like a 3ft stool or 4ft. like a medium height bar stool.

Standard wood glue. Elmer's or Gorilla would suffice.
