Also, its a good idea to get a screen protector, some people have claimed the screen gets scratched from docking it and undocking it. They probably weren't too careful when they docked it.

Question: If my switch is charged and doesn't need charging and I put it into the dock which puts it on the TV and it charges when it's on the TV but it doesn't need charging can't that be bad for the battery? So is there a way to put it onto the TV without it charging the switch?

If you hold the home button while playing a game, a reduced home menu will appear on the right side of the screen, with the time, battery level, and other tools. That way, you don't have to interrupt your gameplay.
