I usually do not pay much heed to the blurb. Everybody does it to succeed. But with Game boy it is a rather rare occasion when the blurb on the box delivers. At the year 1989 Game Boy really is the future of portable gaming. Everything you need in one box including battery longevity and quality serious games to the palm of your hand. One of the best things Nintendo ever made and one of your best unboxings!

I want to recollect and get more games for the (original) Nintendo Game Boy from 1989-1999 one day. It's way better than the Nintendo NES.

Believe it or not, Tetris did have a retail release in the mid 90s when the Gameboy was sold by itself for $50

That original Game Boy must be 33 years old.

Hi, there! So far, there haven't been too many updates to the game room to make for an interesting video, but maybe towards the end of the year I will do another one. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I always find it intersection that the biggest selling games for GB didn’t release til the end of its life. And a system sticking around for a decade is unheard of now. Pokémon was of course the biggest link cable user too. But it could only send Pokémon one way at a time, leading to lots of Pokémon duplication. I bet it would’ve been named different today even though I know it came from Walkman I didn’t realize the red blue motif of the Switch started then Can you do game boy printer and camera unboxing? Who’d think a game peripheral camera would be the best of its day? And it was the first time Pokemon characters were seen in the US. It’s also amazing that a device was being developed to turn the console into a mini computer. Sad it wasn’t released. Those things were tough too and well made. Even an explosion couldn’t kill the one taken to Iraq. Think GB went to space too. I’m amazed it outsold Game Gear. Probably due to GG’s higher price and bad battery life It really needed backlight from the start. Sooo many frustrated 90s kids trying to play at night in bed or the car lol The DS thing was Download Play
