I remember KI when it came out at the arcades. Drop lots of quarters on that game, and super excited when the Ultra 64 was annouced😮. Great vid and walk on memory lane.

These two games were the main reason I bought the Xbox One once the Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition disc came out with the newer game + the 2 arcade classics.

I'd love to see you do a thorough unboxing of Mario Paint, complete with all accessories. I know it's one of your favorite games and there's just really not any good complete in box unboxings on KZbin, at least not the ones that go into as much depth as you do.

Thanks as always, Bob! I really liked this unboxing. The extra love and bundled goodies that Nintendo of America gave Earthbound and the SNES port of Killer Instinct in 1995 are pretty fascinating. Certainly not something they'd throw in a regular edition now!

HEY ! I just discovered your channel, because I was looking to see if anyone had uploaded the O.G. Nintendo Power VHS tapes from back in the day. I saw that you had one I hadn't actually seen for Yoshi:s Island. I own all the others. But I noticed you didn't have the "Square Soft on Playstation Collector's Video" on there. Is that because it was Playstation? Because, while a little hoakey, I feel it shows off Final Fantasy 7 fantasticly. I have that VHS tape if you need it.

Not too long ago, I got drunk and opened a brand new Killer Instinct to listen to Killer Cuts... It was an absolute tragedy 😢 💔 😔 Great experience in the moment, though. 😂

I was not a fan of Nintendo's "we're not just for kids anymore" push or the sudden rush of CGI graphics, so I didn't enjoy Killer Instinct the way my friends did. I appreciated the presentation, though, especially the black cartridge and CD soundtrack. Speaking of which, Nintendo Power also sold the KI soundtrack with an actual jewel case--it was essentially their selling point! "We know you got it with the game already, but this one comes in a fancy case."

I’m very curious to see what new Nintendo things you’ve got for the collection and see a new basement tour, sora amiibo from kingdom hearts for super smash bros ultimate is gonna be released this year and complete that line, and what did you think of the super Mario bros movie?, I thought it was awesome, and Nintendo has announced a live action movie of the legend of Zelda, and I had an idea for the game room and the Famicom keyboard and accessories, install a desk and set up the family computer as a home computer from the 1980s, i thought that would look awesome out on display, and that old CRT tv is not gonna last forever, I would recommend getting a retrotink 4K to have the Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation and Turbografx consoles look Crystal clear upscaled high definition picture on your HD TV, I hope to see you again soon, thank you and long live nintendo

Hello! It has been a while since I uploaded, hasn't it. My teaching job has been keeping me very busy lately and I have been using my free time to rest. However, I do plan to make more videos eventually. A room tour is definitely part of the plan! I have all of the amiibos up to Sora, but I was not able to get a preorder for it. Hopefully I'll be able to pick one up on a restock. I have yet to see the SMB movie, but I haven't even seen the one from 1993, so that tracks LOL. I did just make some upgrades to my CRT setup, but you are right that it will not last forever. When the TV fails, my plan is to move my retro gaming exclusively to the Analogue consoles. I have all of them so far and am very much looking forward to the N64 that is supposed to release in 2024. Thanks again for commenting and taking an interest in what I do!
