I really wanted to play the Legends version on 3DS, but thanks to poor quality and gameplay due to hardware limitations, I wasn’t able to. But now thanks to this version, I can finally really play this game completely without worrying about issues with it, and can finally take it on the go without problems that the 3DS had. This is the one time when I feel like porting this game to Switch was really worth it because finally people can play without limits! Thanks Nintendo! 😁

Myy100 I know, but it is a port of both games just combined is what I meant, plus it’s in same boat as the other ports and deluxe versions of Nintendo games making it onto Switch. I know it’s both game combined, but in a way it’s still a port of both.

xeveemon Sorry to burst your bubble but this games frame rate is really bad. I'm playing it right now and it's a stuttering fest. Really disappointed, I don't know if it was the new patch that did it but I hope they fix it soon enough.

Steven C I’ve been playing the game, and it’s not that bad with frame rate. The most problems I have with it are just slight hiccups when starting to run and especially when starting to run past a lot of enemies at once. Other than that, I haven’t really had a problem with the frame rate at all, I find it way more playable than the 3DS version.

The japanese version of this game was released 2 months ago. The english version should have released around the same time, considering most of the translations are already complete with the 3DS version, but they delayed it for 2 months. Most people say it was to give Labo a chance to get some sales.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is amazing; if you love hack and slash games this is right up your ally. It took the original Wii U and 3DS versions and combined them with far more content than I was expecting. I don't want to spoil too much for you if you do get it, but if it looks and sounds interesting to you, you'll probably be playing it after the octo expansion comes out. It was worth $60 to me.
