Funny thing to say since fixing joycon drift is one of the easiest things compared to a ps4 controller. My ps4 controller started to drift quicker than when I bought my joycons and they are a absolute nightmare to open and fix. Had to buy a whole stick just so I can replace the wheel sensor. Ironically the difference between both controllers is that I dropped my joycons straight on concrete by accident and it took a bit for drift, the dualshock 4 started to drift even without play so it's always going to be a problem with most analog sticks

i don't understand why so many want's wii u ports. The Wii U is already in Full HD, so it's the same graphic. Also you can get the Wii U for 50$ and the games each for 10$. Same. The game has gotten too much criticism on problems that were not even the game's fault, such as the sometimes inaccurate motion controls. Most of the flaws I have seen pointed out have really been quite small, yet with a large impact on people's enjoyment (such as unskippable dialogue and cutscenes, a slow loftwing, and pretty much every criticism of Fi boils sown to her dialogue not being skippable).

For me, it wasn't the motion controls in-of-itself that made me unable to play this game, but the fact that the motion controls *didn't have left-handed options,* when I'm left-handed, and so was Link himself in every Zelda game up to this one. It certainly didn't feel like I was avoiding the game, but as if I was approaching a "Longtime Zelda fans club" and meeting all the requirements only to still not be allowed in because I'm left-handed.

See, I watched a full playthrough but I feel like the game needs more love, it should be a remaster in hd with updated textures and a updated lighting system rather than copying and pasting the game then redoing the controls and allowing it to go to hd resolution instead of 420p, I just think that some of these games need more love if you want to port them to the switch and sell them for 40+ dollars like miitopia which I still have on the 3ds, I mean... I'd rather replay that then buying an updated one with the addition of a frickin horse!

You don’t even know what they have or haven’t changed. There will likely be some quality of life improvements or a very small amount of content added similar to wind waker HD and twilight princess HD. If they game releases and that isn’t the case then you can start to complain. Remember this is only the announcement trailer. For the announcement trailer for twilight princess HD they didn’t mention the changes either, that was announced at a later date. Can’t stand people saying it’s just a direct port when they really have no idea

I wish this was bundled in with Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD, but a boy can dream right? Edit: Now that i think about it, it would make perfect sense. All that they would have to do is change the UI so it fits with the switch. They dont need to change anything visually since it was already made hd on the wii u. Also Skyward Sword isnt the most wanted remaster. While i do appreciate the changes and think that it will be a lot more enjoyable on the switch, people will see the 60 dollar price and not buy it. If you made it a bundle however, a lot more people will buy it, in the end making Nintendo more money. And they will try out the thing you put actual effort into remaking. It could be called The Legend of Zelda HD Collection. Thank me later nintendo.

They sell wii u ports for 60$ because they already look like switch games, so it makes no sense for nintendo to make a cheep bundle. For example, mario world and pikmin 3 (and a lot more) are also simply wii u ports which looks the same and they sell it for 60$ and people are glad about it, so why should they make an exception with the wii u zelda game. In the Mario Collection there is no Full HD game, only games from n64, gamecube and wii.

I'm sure this isn't a surprise when I tell you this, but the controls weren't the issue for me. The entire game is just Zelda Galaxy 2. It's railroad linear, with little to no freedom. This was an issue during the Wii, even when Metroid Other M released nintendo railroaded that too. I'd rather prefer an HD port of Link Between World's considering how nonlinear that game is compared to SS, and how much BETTER it was gameplay-wise. But calling this INCREDIBLE....stop

I am beyond excited for this! I wouldn't call it my favorite Zelda game, but it holds a cozy little spot full of nostalgia in my heart. I remember how excited I was when the game was announced. Even got the gold Wiimote, which I still love to this day. Sadly, I got far, but never beat this game due to my original wii breaking and losing that save data. Now, that's about to change.

@@HenrikMyrhaug it's hard to remember the order of things, but I remember completing those stealth sections or whatever. I can't remember much about them except for there being huge statues and it scaring me when I was younger. I got past the pirate/desert stuff with changing time using crystals. I've fought the main villain as well as that black creature a few times, I believe. I think Zelda was around for one of those. I recall Impa as well. It's all really foggy, but I feel like I had to have been nearing the end. I put so much time into that game doing everything I possibly could. I might have even had the full Master Sword at that point. I definitely remember it looking like the master sword, but also having a final transformation, which I think I got to.

Bro I remember Christmas morning, it was beautiful outside my house which matched the bright and colorful start to the game. I probably should've been playing outside but man it was such a breath of fresh air from other games which focus on being violent and dark.

DUDE SAME. I was on the last fight with girahim and then my wii stopped accepting disks. Then I sold my wii and all the games, and then the wii u came out so I was never able to finish the game

I haven't had a chance to play the game yet, and it looks like I still won't have a chance to play it: there still doesn't seem to be a left-handed mode for the motion controls.

@@sasook Thanks, but I'd rather not be forced into one control setting that the game wasn't designed for when right-handed players can use either control scheme. Plus, a left-handed mode is something that should've been in the original version of the game; if it's not in this re-release, then I'm simply not going to buy it because I see no point in doing so if Nintendo is just going to keep screwing over left-handed players.

Why not just a control option you can select that maps the motion-controls to the opposite joy-cons (they both have an accelerometer and a gyro, so any motion controls can be mapped to either one) and mirrors the game to make Link left-handed to match? Such a thing would take the team that's porting the game to the Switch less than a day to program.
