Dude I fell so bad for you, any history tests I every took on the Revolotionary war were multiple choice, and every time I study I fail it miserably and every time I don't study I get like little to no wrong on it. My school is weird. And so are the History tests

Basically, the way to make money in FF XIII is to sell the items that says they can be sold for a premium. So fighting enemies that drop those kind of items (which are few) are the way to make gil. Upgrading weapons only makes a little difference in stat boosts compared to the upgrades in the Crystarium. Weapons have the most use from their special properties. Also, a lot of the monsters at the Gran Pulse area aren't meant to be beaten till after you're able to warp back in the 13th chapter.

I actually got a 95 on the same test as I mentioned before. The only thing I forgot was the 5th paragraph had little detail, but other than that, I had a lot of detail. Usually, if I write really fast in pen, somehow I tend to think harder and put lots of detail in things. It was also open notes, so that also made it easy.

Ahhhh, the financial struggles of fugitive l'cie stuck down on Gran Pulse, I remember them well. Oh well, you can always vent your frustrations on some wild behemoths stalking around the plains. XD

I ran into the same things you have NCS on Pulse. Getting my ass kicked by the behemoths and the other big things out there. Just keep going, and not to give to much spoiling away, you'll eventually come across a little robot, that if you fix up, gives you some good stuff to sell. At some point, you can do a mark mission, killing a adamantortoise(sp?), that you can have a high chance of getting a platinum ignot(150,000) and always get a gold nugget(60,000). That won't be for awhile though

I know some people have probably said something like this before me, but in FF13, some spoils are worth more gil than weapon exp. It's really worth checking both. Also, to use less items you really need to get the exp multiplier, some items boost that more than they boost exp, (I can't think of a good example, sorry) so if you get a good multiplier then use items that have a high exp increase, you end up using less and more items to sell!

You'll be able to make a lot of money when you able able to ride Chocobos. Just keep doing the missions and you'll unlock them at some point. As for not being able to kill things, Gran Pulse really pushes the difficulty up at first. Really need a lot of leveling of the main jobs to kill things easily for the majority. Believe me, I did some early grinding throughout the game, and had some weapons well upgraded, and the place pwned me quite well at first.

Tim, you should grind on Rangdas in a corner to get CP, and you shouldn't really bother buying stuff before end game, as you can kill the Adamantoises with Vanille's death, and they drop Platinum Ingots that sell for 150,000 gil and Trapozehedrons that can upgrade most weapons to level 3

AH. Spoiled about the baby chocobo. A good strategy for the carapaces is to get a commando with launch and two ravagers. I use Fang, Light, and Hope. Have Hope as a medic, Light as ravager and Fang as commando, until it's staggered, and then when it is your commando will launch it and it can't do anything as long as your ravagers are using magic.

In FF XIII, if you sell the components that aren't worth a lot of exp, you can buy stuff from Lenora's Garage for cheap, which give a lot more exp.

So, yesterday I had a HUGE History test that involved restating factors that helped the Americans win the Revolutionary War, right? So, it was a 5 paragraph essay that needed to be written by the end of class. So, I wrote faster than I usually write, but it was neat. My arm hurt SO much after I wrote it 30 seconds before class ended. I was SO glad it was over, though because it has been hanging over my head for a week! Just wanted to share that information with you because I'm excited it's over.

for FF13, some upgrade components are fairly useless, and you can sell them for a quite big amount of money. For example the incentive chips that a fair deal of humanoids drop. Farm those and sell them ;)

I was having the same problems in FFXIII. Just kill a lot of those wolf like things. Get used to a Fang Lightning Hope setup and get used to using Sentinel very often. Chapter 11 is MAJOR FARMING TIME. You want to finish all your leveling in your 3 main classes in chapter 11.

@shdowclaw77 yeah, basically. but there are other factors involved (e.g rare also own rights to some of the animal buddies in DKC). when nintendo realese a game not made by them (regardless if it is there franchise), they only own the publishing rights to it. Rare still own DK64. When rare went to microsoft, microsoft gained the publishing rights to the game, but they can't release it due to almost all DK characters themselves being copyrighted to nintendo. any more questions, PM me.

most the drops in ff13 dont give much exp for weapons. later on you can get high exp items so just sell your most components you wont need them for awhile. at you are at now you should mostly focus on completing missions. youll see your strength agsint them increase plenty by the time you complete many of them

I hate the monsters in FFXIII with Carapace's, they take -forever-. There's no good way to make money at the moment, you'll want to wait until after Chapter 11 to grind for Gil and CP. Hit me up sometime if you're interested in some strats.

Also, selling the Chips will net you a lot of money, and then you should sell all of your compounds to Lenora. After that you can buy the weapons you want, and then I nuy a bunch of Crankshafts(or whatever is worth the most). EXP is easy to decode, i.e. the latest and most expensive will always have the most EXP.

Its not your weapons or anything it's the fact that once you get to Gran Pulse it's really hard to kill anything at all but you will be able to do it later, just try avoiding the things you can't kill

Tim if your talking about the archylte steppe in ff13 then your actualy not supposed to be ablt to kill alot of the monsters there yet. You just have to try to avoid alot of the monsters there for now. And about the componants the only ones that are really useful and that you want to keep are the sturdy bones, ultracompact reactors, particle accelerators, and perfect conductors. You can sell the rest. If you want I can give u a weapon upgrade tutorial in a PM. Thumbs this up so he can see it.
