I got my first Donkey Kong 64 set on its release date on November 22, 1999 and 20 and half years later I still have it and the cartridge is faded and still works!

I miss the N64 so much. I truly loved that console. I loved the wow factor of playing in 3D for the first time. It was the first console that I was old enough to have a job and buy it with my own money, which makes me love this console more.

I had an original black N64 when I was a kid, I’m not sure if I still have it somewhere. My dad got me an ice blue one when I was a kid, because my old one had controller reading problems, even if you had a controller in, sometimes it wouldn’t read it.

Those tools were really useful and it came also by its box when you bought the Expansion Pak separatedly Could've also been added to the retail game version box where the exp pak was added to the cartridge As a funny fact it wasn't the first time Nintendo released an removal tool for console accessories Rembember Mario Paint in Bigbox for Super Nintendo it had a weird looking tool for removing the ball that's inside the Mouse controler leaving a lot of people never having heard of or seen it before Greetings from Germany

Looking at you unbox that brings back so much memories. I remember I was 5 when my parents bought this for me at our local walmart. I still have the jungle green system to this day but unfortunately by parents threw away the box and everything inside when I was like 10.

I would imagine the Jumper Pak is included as some games had a few issues. Forcing modes, rsolutions that may or may not be wanted. It rules out any issues of compatibility and allows the machine to be standard. Also the machine got all its safety tests and certificates as the base machine with Jumper Pak and perhaps could be an issue. The optional extra Expansion Pak is a Expansion and not a standard. I suppose it also gives the illusion of being a upgrade and extra item in the bundle.

When I got my dk64 set brand new from Target, it came with the regular jumper pack installed with the expansion pack in the styrofoam. I had to install it after unboxing it.

It came with the jumper pack installed The expansion pack was In the bag that you have the jumper pack And tool in Yours is 100% complete And they did seal the boxes At the factory Had the same Box set when it was new back in 1999

This is the system I have but did not keep the box unfortunately. Something didn't think of back in the day, saving boxes. I still have the actual system and cart.

Some of these are from the US set and some are from the Canadian one. I got the Canadian one on my birthday which was a few days after release. All of the bags for the cables were blue like on the controller except for the System and Controller bags with the warnings. Also Canadian systems have a set of serial number ranges you can check to see if the box is for this actual system. In Canada this set was sold exclusively through Toys r us on launch btw. Same with the Pikachu N64 Variant. Also the Banana controller is not complete without it's cover in either yellow or green.

I have always been a massive Nintendo fan and for so long I had always wanted a 64, my dad had one back in the day and traded it in for the GameCube, he had every game imaginable! I had always wanted to experience the Nintendo 64 and that’s when I got my crap together and my dad helped me bid on a gold controller limited edition pal console, the 64 is probably my favourite system, and I hope to collect all of the controllers someday, but now that I think about, I’d also love to get some of the console variants too such as this one! I'm happy I got a refurbished 64(came with expansion pack already in) & solar panels..now I can play Mario In the mountains and there's a video where a guy takes the old systems apart and makes a clear case for them.

It is good that you have included the Junper pack and the Expansion pack. With many games there was a choice of whether you want to play with the expansion pack in a better resolution or with the jumper pack in a better frame rate. A few games are also not at all compatible with the jumper pack for example spacestation silicon valley

Thanks for sharing This is my favourite Nintendo 64 console Box and on my list of most beloved games in my collection It really matches my custom DK64 designed RPG console The green console seems a bit odd for me because I refer that game highly to bananas that I like to eat and them in yellow condition for the sake ;) I love to add the yellow Game controler to mine but mine is missing the specific design additions The little package plastic bags are a nice detail addition to any set Have a nice time and keep all well protected Greetings from Germany

White bottom with a green top is not official. Some of the white bottom blue top have fading which can make it look more green
