Bad news was awesome, had the hidden girls mode with some killer teams, best baseball after rbi baseball. Dusty diamonds all star softball was awesome too,found at a flea market , was like a sand lot game,so much fun

Once you figure out you can cheese 🧀 on defense by picking the player that lines up with the Center and slightly move down and around him to pull off a diving tackle…you’ll get a sack 90% of the time. Most of my games would end with 49-7 score and my defensive player would rack up 15-20 sacks a game. 😄

Last year, the KZbin channel Console Wars did comparison for this game between Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. Close race, but the games look fun even if you're not a big football fan. Good stuff.

There was a PS1 Tecmo Super Bowl game. It pretty much crashed & burned, so Tecmo quit trying.

The 16-bit ports of Tecmo Super Bowl are just as fun as the original NES version - even though they are *identical* in terms of gameplay. Sure, you can change formations, compensating for injured players occasionally and added weather conditions. But that's about it. Regardless, the graphics are better and the soundtrack is awesome. I *_do_* prefer the Genesis version's OST, though. Speaking of the music, anyone else hear the Streets of Rage opening theme during the halftime sequence? No? Just me? (15:02)

This game is almost 32 years old. Compared to now: - There were 6 divisions instead of 8 - The Panthers, Jaguars, Texans and Ravens didn’t exist yet - The Oilers became the Titans - The Browns became the Ravens - The Browns then came back - Phoenix is now Arizona - Raiders moved to Oakland then Vegas - Rams moved to St Louis then back to LA - Chargers are now in LA - R******* are now Commanders - Seahawks are now in the NFC

I abused the mechanics in this game so bad with Reggie White. I think i had over 120 sacks on the season. Broke the passing too. Farve to Sharpe all day for the whole field. Good times.
