Congrats beating the game, getting 9999 points, and beating France and all of the other cheat tracks. In the speedrun community of this game we know it's pretty hard, this stage ask a lot of consistency out of you, no rooms for mistakes. Under 2:15 actually used to be a really good time till recently. Also I need to tell you, you were so close to discover by yourself multidrifts (O Drift Speed Conservation). Constantly drifting every couple of seconds, even on a straight line, allow us to keep speed of the previous turbo. This way we can hit constant 270+mph, and even hit spikes of 296mph. If you want a good example of this, my time or current's wr Italy or France times are a good example of insane speeds that can be achieved. With this trick, which is really actually harder than just normal driving, you can beat the france time by more than 13 seconds, as winkmarket shows in his wr (2m 01s 640ms) I can put your time in the speedrun.com/cw leadeboard tho if you want :) Anything under 2:15 is still very respectable, as that as close as we can get without md.

I appreciate this game when I got for Christmas, but I wish they would have designed it closer to the arcade like they did with Crusi'n USA. Examples would be Choose your car, Transmission selection, and the missing voices in certain stages.

I was addicted to this game back when I was a kid, I used to play this every day. I remember getting to 9999 points and that made me very happy, I still remember everything about that day. The only cheat I wasn’t able to beat the time was in France though, I tried A LOT of times and I just couldn’t figure it out, however I still loved the game and I’m looking forward for it to be on the switch very soon. Thanks for the upload.

Back when I first had this game, I went into Championship TT on a whim and actually unlocked a couple secret cars (Monsta and Bulldog) LONG before I even knew the Speed Demon existed. I chalk that up to the respective tracks (Hawaii and England, respectively) having target times lenient enough to not need the Speed Demon. I forget whether my Power Level was 5 or 4 at the time.

Cruis'n World for the N64 was superior to the Arcade, minus draw distance and running over wild animals. But the radio tracks were in Stereo where as the Arcade wasn't.

True! Despite Cruis'n World supposedly more faithful to the arcade version, the starting chick was removed along with a few things while Cruis'n USA still had the starting chick, despite "not being faithful" to the arcade version. Another thing both games had removed was the squashing animals and beasts on the road which I did get a kick out of it in the arcade versions, especially in Cruis'n Exotica and the relatively new Cruis'n Blast!

Recuerdo cuando juegue la primera vez ea este juego en aquel tiempo en la consola Nintendo 64, y la verdad pasarlo en la consola sin emulación es terrorífico, mas aun el nivel de Francia para sacar el tiempo récord, la cantidad de veces que jugué con mi hermano para sacar todos los cheats era una locura, recuerdo bien que siempre salía con el nitro de cambio perfecto para salir mas rapido y hacer tiempo récord, y en la parte de los arboles hacía la willie o levantar el coche o hacer caballito para ir recto sin chocar los arboles, aparte de ser una bajada aumentaba tu velocidad en esa parte, era muy complicada pero si era un reto brutal.

There's are ways you can buy the cartridge online you just got to have the money and have extra cuz shipping.🤔 Nintendo was like okay we got to get back into the game and can't do top gear cuz those an instant classic so they came up with AKA cruisin USA but it was cruising world that put them on a different level😎💯

Nice video. Did you miss a cheat? Not being picky!! ;D A little bit of trivia I've just figured out. There are two (and a half) bonus cars that are English. The London double-decker bus and black cab taxi obviously but the third, the half British one, is basically a Mini Cooper (a BMW car but based on the older British Mini made famous by The Italian Job). It wouldn't surprise me if it was added (or suggested) by the Eurocom Team (mostly all Brits who I assume did the PAL / European conversion amongst other things, possibly a lot of the N64 port?) because its strange name is a joke you'd only get if you are from the UK. Tommy Cooper was a famous comedian from the 70s over here.

6:02 as a kid I always found the Kangaroos an adorable detail but years later I saw the arcade version of the first game and in that one you can actually hit the animals with your car, I was shocked. 🦘
