What are the "showdown" minigames? What game mode is this? Is there a way to just play the pinball table on its own and try to get a high score?

The hosts of these minigames can appear on a board in a standard round of Mario Party and if one player reaches them, all players compete in the corresponding Showdown minigame against each other. The winner receives the host as an ally.

Some of these minigames are reskin of previous minigames from the past and I love it! One example in Luigi's Rescue Operation the section where you need to create a path for yourself to the next door is obviously very similar to Hotel Goomba from Mario Party 5 and the first minigame from Daisy's Field Day is basically the same as Mario Party 10's Fruit Scoot Scurry, but with a twist as the platforms in this can disappear for a moment.

Wario's showdown isn't _Wario_ enough for him. Luigi has his mansion rescue, Waluigi and his pinball obsession, even DK's is pulled from Donkey Konga, and then Wario just has a quiz show??? They could've ripped microgames straight from WarioWare and it would've been better!

These seem absurdly drawn out. The characters only last for 3 turns, and you can even get them stolen. Have a feeling these are gonna be very annoying after the first few games.

Shy guy thinks he is Quincy from BTD6 because of Ballons what hit even Shy Guy Says came earlier than Quincy in the time Quincy BTD6:2018 Shy Guy Says at the 1990's and also Shy Guy Says was 4 times remake that was Mario Party 2 Mario Party 8 at the Bonus settings and Mario Party Superstars and currently Mario Party Jamboree and Mario Party 2 and current have Shy Guy with Bow and Arrows but the others expect Mario Party 8 have a Navy Captain with a scissors and Mario Party 8 have a Pirate Captain Shy Guys with the Pirate members and instead of a bow and arrows or a scissors they launch you with a plank and that why i say Shy Guy thinks he is Quincy
