Honestly mapping felt natural but only when I played on a switch lite with the EO stylus, given how small and light the switch lite was compared to a switch because I own both, it felt almost as natural a 3ds

If you want to play these i recommend the steam versions cause you can map with the mouse.

that sounds awful. mapping in handheld works perfectly. docked mode mapping sucks to the point where I turned on automap after emptying my console battery.

"Cleft in Twain?" We're getting cute, Neal! Great review though. I still prefer the old DS. Not a big fan of these HD graphics. Much prefer the old pixel art. But I say that about all of these HD remasters of old pixel art JRPG's.

I have enouth dungeon cravlers on switch because of labirynth of galleria. Story and characters was great but second part of game was so repetive so I wasnt able to spend another 60h to finish it... Hate not finish games, especialy so long.

Atlus killed their profits with a digital only strategy lately. Haven’t bought a game from them since persona 5 Royal on switch because I simply refuse to pay for a license to use a rom that can just go away whenever an eshop closes. They have lost all the respect I once had for their unique talents ever since they decided they would rather screw over their biggest fans with the shadiest of DLC practices

yall are wild just get a big memory card they cant take it away after its on the memory card. If i had kept my 3ds id be so happy right now cuz i would have all the etrian odyssey games and i realize i made the mistake of selling it now but half my games were digital and they didnt just dissappear lmao I got rid of it so it was my fault. Not amking that mistake again but if i just keep my switch and have a nice memory stick i can keep my games forever. I dont understand. Even when i bought marvel ultimate alliance 1 and 2 on xbox and they took it down from the store i got to keep my games guys. Yall are dramatic.

blah blah blah the touch screen blah blah blah these reviews are ruining my chances of getting more games. Its not perfect but the trade off is worth it to be able to play on the big screen :) I just use automap because the map drawing is definitely not the only good thing about this game. To me it was a cool gimmick that im glad was preserved for the hardcore fans who want to draw maps or if i want to. I like that its there but thats not even why I play etrian. Its almost lost on everyone that its a role playing game first and foremost. Im not playing map draw simulator.
