Finally beat her. I cheezed it in my own way. This is how i did it for those who are having trouble. My build is Katana/Heart/High Defense (A) build. I had 5 rounds for hand cannon(purple) /8 fire rounds and 9 bullets for my rifle(purple) . Also my build is based on building anima for Yokai shift(Brute). Start by staying in safe zone, its on the total opposite of the main eye. Unload all your bullets and canon on her main eye(the one in the middle/on the castle). She closes it when she gets hit so you need to dodge the water/electric attack and the main laser beam. It took all 9 bullets, 5 canon rounds and 2 fire canon to bring her to shift to yokai phase of the fight. If you dodge everything, your basically at the 2nd phase with relativity full health and max 8 elixir to spare. For the Yokai realm phase with all 4 tentacles, i immediately shift to Yokai and take down the two tentacles nearest to the safe zone. This is will give the breathing room to take care of the other two. The tentacles health in this phase much weaker. Her main eye will go down and unload her. She will re-spawns her two tentacles nearest to her, take em down. Luckily at this point, it doesn't spawn the other two like earlier and she goes immediately. Unload on her again, in my case i Yokai shift again and unload on her to finish her off. Not my best boss fight but seeming how i was getting my ass handed to me and was thinking of quiting, kinda proud i found my own way in beating her.

I ended up beating Lady Osakabe super easy. I brought in a blue summoned peep to soak up some hits but it died right away. Didn’t need it anyway. All I did was shoot the eye on the house every time it opened with a hand cannon. Never touched an eyeball or mouth thingy. Used 3 health potions, ran in circles like a madman, took 5 shots with the cannon and one rifle. Not pretty or “gud” but it was quick and efficient.

I was seriously underleveled, i took on her when i was under 100. But the thing that allowed me to finish the 2nd phase was explosive arrows. But you need to be good at aiming them. Once you destroy 2/4 heads in the 2nd phase then it becomes a lot easier. Also at the end of 1st phase, use axe/odachi or something which is slow but deals a lot of damage and use power pills just before you destroy the 4th head in both phases. Magic projectiles won't help as they take way too much time to cast so focus your spells on talismans that buff your defence, resistance and health regen.

The strategy that i am going to use 1st use a canon five time shooting in the main eye 2nd use your gun to shoot it 5 time in the eye. 3rd use ur your throwing axe to hit them from a distance. You can damage them with out going near to them. 4th when the second phase comes, concentrate one one eye throw all your kunai to destroy 1 tentacle. 5th then again use ur throwing axe to damage them from a distance.

I got the game with it being free with ps plus. I just beat her with a splitstaff build I put together. Really made it a lot easier for me. I just had to dodge the heads a few times and then do my high stance skill and the head would die pretty quickly. Only thing i struggled with was learning the moves but after 4 tries I got it 😊

I just cannoned the fuck out of the big eyes and bigger heads almost totally ignoring the ones you are upost to hit. id you save enough ammo and do decent damage you basically skip the part with 4 heads at same time.

I can't beat it. I spend all my elixirs with first heads and then I'm able to deal about a quarter of its actual HP. Then dark realm and four heads... Fuck this game.

I don't know how people can suck so much at these games, sounds like someone who summoned 2 people against every boss and easymode their way through the game with sloth talisman or other nonsense. Yes this is an annoying boss but still only takes a few tries if you've actually been playing the game and learning this whole time. The game gives you a plethora of tools to use to your advantage...

@@ooperblownup Actually defeated this boss in one sitting on my first encounter. Don't know how many attempts I made though and how many times I thought of just calling it a night and closing the game. This vid helped though and a few suggestions I gathered from places. I swapped to a hand cannon and equipped a Enki soul core for ranged attacks. The hand cannon, I used on the main eye. Which I use to start an engagement, then once the main eye closes, I attack the heads with a flurry of attacks and the Nurikabe yokai skill. Once a head dies, I go back to the eye and shoot it one more time. Rinse, repeat. Now the Dark Realm was tricky for me the first time, I just ran around attempting to survive it. Didn't work. Thanks to the vid though, I understand that you were supposed to attack them and that they have lesser health. I did use a revenant for the first part (for distraction, but revenant was actually holding its own and was firing its hand cannon although it died before the dark realm phase) and triggered the yokai shift (had no elixirs left) to kill of the heads on the last part. Also, a little bit levelled but even with that, this boss will still shred you if you are not careful.

just use a handcannon to blast the heads right as you spawn in. when you run out switch to bow or rifle then proceed to melee the heads. if you are running a ninja build just spam shuriken/kunai and this fight becomes easy mode

Jason Benjamin I think I ended up doing a bit of leveling and then just kept going at it and I eventually learned the right well enough to do it. It’s a hard fight, easily the hardest in the first run of the game imo, but you can do it

This is neat and all but your build definitely has an advantage. High speed ninjitsu makes finishing off the heads easy and your kasurigama is the only reason you can melee those heads from the range you’re at. So this video only benefits very specific builds. Otherwise the rest of the tips are pretty damn obvious.
