This build just shreds, I have been following your build videos since I got stuck on dream of the demon and I really only need ultimate constitution to roll on my scroll of the damned to have mostly everything I need. Near floor 10 and I am having no problems whatsoever with the passive skills like increase attack winded enemy, increase defense ki depleted and I really only need the soul cores, I only feel I need the familiars if I am surrounded to proc sloth omni magic (I am a big fan of the passives that proc a spell under a battle condition since it means less time casting and more time attacking). But yeah dude this build is so solid, I only planned on getting to max new game (DotN) but your build has made this game so fun for me I want to beat everything and I almost have. You do a great job at breaking everything down and explaining this very complex game down to the fly shit, excellent job.

I've been progressing through depths with a less than ideal Iza+Oyam because after floor 15 I just got tired of getting one-shotted. Currently on floor 26 and working slowly on a Susa corruption. I wanted to mention Nupepo Soul's core, I got one with almost 9% anima charge (full life), 3,3% dmg vs purified, and inheritable Defense. It gives around 276 life as native too. I'm using it instead of Ippon. I think that it's not possible to get 4 stars on accessories (unless some is native like with the Yasakani) to have that +40% dmg on zero ki enemies for the Susa build.

Super cool content 👍 I use Kusarigama n Sword and didn’t know about the versatility. I use Sanada up to the break and have Takemikazuchi for the lightning benefits. I’ve got so good I didn’t realise I could make use of all the skill usage. Thanks to this vid (taking the Susano choice) I’ve broken the game. The other grace that you get in the depths is also worth talking about. Especially for the most aggressive players that focus on skill play. "Shinatsuhiko' grace" It's a combo master's dream. Lots of ki extended status bonuses, and 30% melee attack ki consumption. Everything was perfectly explained man, well done!

In summary: Corruption Build deals more damage (114%), but it requires you to get Sentience Charge and Corruption Accumulation effect on your gear. Purity Build deals less damage (70%), but you gain better health Regen and Ki Recovery without much setup what with Izanagi Grace +30% Purity Accumulation.

Your build with Izanagi+Warrior of the East is currently making going through the underworld a breeze for me, even though I use different weapons. Still waiting for a couple of god rolls to drop though, especially an accessory with Izanagi and -1 requirement. Will be trying your build from this video when I reach the Depths.

Great guide Jumpin. One minor suggestion: Even if you don't like Cornered Tiger (because you say you prefer "healing up"), there may be a rare instance where the boss health is very low & attacking is less risky than trying to heal. Or maybe you heal off of attacks/amirita absorbtion..... Either way, 2 extra points of Melee Mastery is so meaningless that I can't see how "+30% damage at low health" isn't a better use of those skill points.

Building stacks on Switch Glaive is really easy. Just start with either mid or low stance, then do the following. Light Attack > Swap Attack > Light Attack > Swap Attack. This comes out incredibly fast and gets you 2 stacks. Its great for building stacks until you knock the bosses Ki out and can unload your damage payload.

Man I got home after watching this and seen some izanagi inheritances for my weapons. So already got my purity weapons set. On armor I'm going with ninigi grace for ki damage. Seems fitting with my purity tonfas. I already love playing this game even on a new console years later it's still one of the best games. But now grinding for these new graces is got me dying to play

I'm not him but I've been doing Iza+Susa for a while while also trying to get graces for all weapons and... -Claws are very very good, for certain, more static bosses I prefer them and I replace Switchglaive with them. Very useful for human bosses. You deplete them of Ki, do Izuna's Drop and final blow, then use the set of kicks to deplete them of Ki again... it's a loop. Also Beyond Infinity is the most damaging skill in the game against a stationary enemy. Claws require a god drop tho (fists lose the secret Hayabusa technique so you shouldn't use those with Imbue Purity as native, but try to get a claw with the effect) and also dual stat change. -Dual katanas can replace Splitstaff, but they aren't as good. -Tonfas are god tier against humans, they offer defense and destroy Ki like nothing else. Also have a very fast attack with minimal Ki consumption (the one you do with Ki Pulse). They are solid and have a place, but they need mystic dyad, same as dual katanas. -Katana. Easiest to get your Versatility to 9 BY FAR in my opinion, but it lacks the devastating skills Splitstaff, Switchglaive and even Tonfas have while not having enough speed. -Others. I haven't tried them as much so those are just guesses. Kusarigama should be good since it's very fast. Spear with the dyad I think it's very useful on regular mobs, not so much on bosses. Odachi and Axe are too slow to be viable, I guess they are since the builds in the video are tanky but I'm on a Susa+Iza and I certainly can't leave those big openings to enemies. Just my thoughts.

This may sound silly, but how much damage exactly "Attack" on all pieces gives? I was testing it and it was likely "Attack 30" just adds 30 flat damage to your blow. Does it even worth it? Won't untouched jutsu or elemental damage while guarding simply be better? Or am I wrong in my tests?

Im having a difficult time getting meele damage vs zero ki and meele damage vs enemy purified in the same accessory. Even the star effects like attack bonuses are hard to get. Especially the Anima Bonus (Confused) from Kasha's soulcore. Its an amazing build but I feel like I wont have an easy time advance through the floors from 21 to 30.

Alright, I'm gonna need to think about how to go about adapting this build with dual swords, because I can't really o for 150 con and magic because the scaling for the weapon comes from Skill and Heart... I really don't wanna give in to the Splitstaff or Fists for my endgame build, those weapons just didn't click with me...

A bit late to the Party. Susano is great but you can actually consider to leave the 7th peace Bonus from oyamatsumi out and swap susano with something like ame no uzume, magatsuhi or izanagi. The Important part of oyamatsumi are the 30% life bonus and the damage halved. The Melee damage bonus is just ok, but not necessary. Death Dancer for example is a raw 70% attack Bonus at full stack. This is more than versatility + 7 peace oyamatsumi. Nioh 2 has great options to build.

Yeah thats best way to do it, but you do need the scroll of the Damn that has grace drop izanagi on it. so if u do have the scroll then beat it with the veterans armor u crafted, put lucky drop equip armor on ur accessories then it will start to drop like crazy. It works well enough, but then you'll have to use Wild Boar Crest Helmet and Honda Clan to get 100% Damage Taken Halved (Unscathed). You also lose 30% HP.

After getting my ass beaten again and again after floor 15 of Depths, I don't think it's viable beyond that. You'll get one-shotted constantly. I use it on Scrolls of the Damned tho, it's more damaging. On Depths, I've seen up to 12k dmg and get one-shotted with 6 pieces Oyat+ Full Veteran + Caterpillar if I'm unlucky on bosses. Levels are a breeze though. Also the Honda Clan trait works only 1/2 of the time.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice video, but honestly I never understood the advice of using Lucky Drop to farm your gear. Sure, that might increase your chances of getting a desired grace on a desired piece of gear, but you're equipping inferior gear with unoptimized stats and basically no set bonuses, so if you're struggling with killing things to even get any drops in the first place, how is that helping you farm?

What i usually do is use one lucky drop at a time and then switch it to a different lucky drop once I got everything sorted out. Losing one ability isn't going to matter all that much on a grand scheme of things. It's better than nothing I guess. Wish there were better alternatives though.

Because clearing Scroll of the Damned with one or two unoptimized gear is way easier than trying to get the right part without Lucky Drop; and some people are skilled enough to have no trouble with nerfing themselves - they can kill bosses just as easily, albeit slower.

Focus points, 66 attack ×3 soul cores, attack bonus AA for stat with 200, having weapon remodeled for A- on 2 stats where you have 200 points will get you over 7000. Level 200 +120 of course.

I wonder how you get 7k+ damage on your weapons, I only have around 6-6k3 damage with the same Attack Bonus AA PS: I get it, you got Attack in All Armor Pieces and Soul Cores. Each piece has only small amount of Attack point but sum of them makes big difference

@@jere9915 active skill damage is a skill that is not regular attack. for example Iai quickdraw is a skill for sword. if this attack is used, active skill damage is extra damage for Iai quickdraw. Ki damage is stamina damage of enemies. For yokai, its purple bar below health bar. If fully depleted, the yokai will stagger forever and some yokai will allow you to perform grapple or final blow. Humans use the same system.

@@moelester2894 idk what's your playstyle but it doesn't take long for me to kill them. For Tate and yomi, after stacking susanoo, you can start changing way + ippon the shit out of them, and dragon dance whenever you see an opening. Also attune your secondary spirit with different elemental soul cores so you can enjoy the confusion benefits by constantly applying different elements.

@@srespect6421 I see people replay the mission on dawn with gozuki and mezuki I forget what it's called. I tried it but it got boring, I found leveling to be pretty fast when playing on Dream of the Nioh under level 500. For leveling fast to 750, I can't help you I am not even level 600 yet

You have to accept that Nioh is an item based game.. its not like Dark souls where you can beat DOTN on SL1... you need to farm and grind for gear.. I spent 100s of hours in the underworld setting up my gear.. after getting 2 sets with the right items damage taken + attack boost + 2 god tier charms.. the game became very easy... I did make it to around lv 60 with a ethereal red demon armor, but fire damage just doesn't cut it on certain enemies.. without getting hit... save yourself the frustration...
