The purity build is absolutely devastating. i was stuck in the first five floors of the depths of the underworld, using an odachi-takemikazuchi build that gave me satisfactions up to 108, but unfortunately no longer held the comparison. i reached the twenty-fifth without any problem ( except human bosses) .I made some small changes based on my way of playing but your advice was very helpful.100% quality content !!!Sub deserved🇮🇹

This is probably redundant but as well as life recovery with amrita absorp, you'll also get anima with the set bonus from Genryu's set. It seems small at first but with fist being so fast, and the added 70+anima charge in awakened state, its truly insane generation of anima.

Add on Saoirse for the anima gain on amrita absorption and you have even more insane anima gen. I'm using it atm and it's fantastic

I'm using currently two builds with the same level stats, I use dual swords and katana. One build is susano with magatsuhi, this is the corrupted one. The purity one is with ninigi and izanagi. And they work very well on abyss and online

Quick suggestion: Itsumade in place of Kasha's soul core. He has a corruption accumulation status effect and grants anima on purification which admittedly aren't the best passives, but his ability is a very good AOE damage dealer and corruption applicator. Overall pretty sick for corruption builds.

I’m using mag and I’ve experimented with a few different sets. It’s a lot of fun with Gallant, and 6pc bonus with an awakened weapon is great. Mag/kintaro is amazing. You can do astronomical damage when stacking enough awaken.

ive been farming floor 1 and 4 for my zen splitstaff to drop ethereal with izanagi but wow ive never had such bad luck everytime it drops its divine , is there another way to make the purity build work? cause i know the corrupted would be harder to farm, also yeah im using lucky drop

Thank you again - I am running your purity build! Question - Why do you choose to refine your armor pieces instead of reinforcing them? Refining seems like it wastes more stat points vs just reinforcing + putting points into Stamina instead

Yes because later it is better. It is up to you on what to do at the point of the game that you are in but once your plus value is 100 if you reinforce almost everything it takes 200 stamina 200 strength to not be over weight

Have been running the previous build since I got stuck in demon and it has been excellent. I thought I would never understand this game because it’s so complex. Any advice on farming for the firearms? I have everything but I just do not have a izanagi ranged weapon for the 7 bonus. Have been farming the first level since that gets more of that graces drop rate but are there any other ways?

-1 set requirement effect is not exclusive to Yasakani Magatama. You can get the star effect on any accessory, if you're lucky enough.

Offense ye of course but you will get die a lot in the higher levels of the depths.

You can replace 7p Izanagi with 5p Onmyo Austerity and 3p Tsukuyomi. You lose a bit of damage, but your survivability went up by a lot with Reduced Attack on Onmyo Hit and nigh unlimited Protection Talisman (courtesy of Empowered Onmyo).

They have the same icon so no they don't stack but the movement speed from kasha is garbage. The higher buff always take priority so the magic hit is better. Kasha movement speed buff is like 15%

Kasha provides 15% increased movement speed. Movement buffs overwrite the previous one.

I'm using 5p Onmyo Austerity, 3p Tsukuyomi and 6p Ninigi with Kusanagi Tsurugi & Earthfall Kusarigama for maximum ki damage build (purified enemy receives 50% additional ki damage). No life recovery at all, to maximize the bonus from Janomecho GS (+30% melee damage at 1 HP remaining). My only lifeline is Protection Talisman (near unlimited usage thanks to Empowered Onmyo) and Quick Change Scroll.

It’s weird that you’re using max level weapons while not being max level and then saying “you don’t need to be max level” for certain things yet you have max level weapons, so that’s why you in particular don’t need to be max level. It’s just very confusing and overall I think you did a good job with this video, but that falls flat for me. Multiple times you demonstrate stats not being max level with max weapons and it’s just wrong.

It’s because your character level in Nioh 2 doesn’t really matter. Your gear levels and your build is what really matters. All level is really good for is meeting stat requirements.

I know this is suuuuuuper late, but if you're trying to just get some materials I recommend 'a formal match' he's easy to stunlock or the mission where you're in the underworld looking for the tea set with the gauntlet of yokai it gets you decent gear plus materials 😊
