Bunch of different factors such as using Flux I or Flux II. Many players use Yokai Abilities to recover ki as well.

I don't know if I'm missing something here, but the clip by WittyCleverName at 01:33 doesn't seem to be of the same skillful standard that the other clips show. Maybe he's doing tech in his Yokai Shift clip that is impressive, but I'm not seeing it. Otherwise, excellent showcase, as always.
