Really nice video, so cool how you openly promote technical play, which shows the true identity of the game IMO. I hope this concept becomes more and more popular, and maybe devs take it more into account while balancing the game.

It blows my mind how many people are still playing this . I beat the base game when it released , bought all the dlc but never finished. Finally decided to hop back on after playing a few hundred hours of Elden ring . And BAM I see revenant graves EVERYWHERE and recieve co op help the second I offer a cup . I am pleased

just finished the main story , 70% of trophies on my first run, and i gotta say i loved this. ng + seems way more harder but well that's why we in.

@@jonathannjembe7788 personally, I think NG+ is easier until the very end, cause while they have stats you got more tools at your disposal, by the end game catches up though cause same tools but higher stats, NG+2 through NG+4 (which is the cycle I reached on my old toon, replaying from 0 on new one now) it does get way more difficult from start though

This game is absolutely brilliant. I’m only playing it after beating Ng and NG+ on Wo Long. Wo long is great but Nioh 2 holy shit

Maru just being repeated for the last bosses was really disappointing, maru makes sense thematically but being forced to fight him again to progress was just annoying, I had to fight him like 5 or 6 times and I think it only took so many attempt’s because I was bored.

It's a roll high stance dodge attack into high stance strong, just looks neat. The move after the double hit thing is Double-Headed Slice.

Progress thru the Underworld and use Lapis Lazuli to upgrade the + levels of dropped items at the vendor just before the boat in the UW .

I just finished DStrong I’m starting to do small 3-4 combos but I need a few pointers to expand it. Any vids you did you could recommend?

the problem on that is that there's no reward system for doing cool stuff it's a just feeling of accomplishment. if there's a reward on doing some cool stuff in the game or a system like in dmc to see if your doing good or bad i think more player will go for technical and skill based stuff on the game as of now if one shoting the enemies give the same reward as doing technical and being skilled so why bother but doing cool stuff is amazing it just the game gives no motivation to do so.

It does have motivation to do stuff like that actually. First of all... your stamina, which you learn to manage by doing Fluxes (when switch stances to a different one, or 2 different ones while you ki pulse to recover extra 11% or 22% (if you performed Flux II) ki). And... to do this tech, you need to switch to a different stance... right? Now... if you think a bit deeper... it already encourages you to play variably), then there's... enemies stamina. When you fight enemies or bosses, they have this ki (humans) or anima bar (yokai). Your normal/default attacks don't do alot of damage to the anima bar and with ki bar... your attacks are nearly useless against ki bar enemies (humans), becouse their block interrupts your default mid stance/ low stance combo, but! Humans block does not interrupt any of your special moves (and also it does not interrupts high stance default combo), in fact some of them deal a pretty big damage to the ki or anima of the enemy and some... deal even more ki damage when the enemy is blocking (and some just deal a pretty big damage overall). Anyways, there is a really solid system that rewards the player, not only for being skillful, but also for being variable in terms of their gameplay. By the way, I'm currently playing Nioh 1's DLCs in that sort of style and... I'm fine. I'm currently not as good as Poofer, Last to Load or XLHGladiator now, but I'm as good as they are when they started playing the game (Let's just say I'm a bit higher level than XLH was during his Nioh 1 beta test days). I somewhat get the pressure thing (I have a pretty consistent way of destroying the Ki of Date Masamune in his normal form), I can do Flux I consistently during fast paced bossfights (sometimes I can even do a Flux II if I try) and overall I'm having fun and I will keep playing that way, becouse nothing really stops me :/ Anyways, how Lady from Devil May Cry 3 said: "That is enough motivation to keep me going...".

I can't fathom someone having the patience and will to finish this game 5 times even with the DLCs. I really don't see the point, you just need to finish DOTD if you wanna get the DLC trophies and that's it, there's not even trophies for finishing the game on DOTW or DON and the DLCs are not that high leveled that you need to be level 750, I really don't get it. I'd say if someone finished the game 5 times and wanted to keep on playing they could try to platinium the game and all its 3 DLC. I honestly only finished it once and gave up on NG+ at the beginning of the second chapter having it only at 61%. I just couldn't deal anymore with the level design getting lost for hours trying to find my spirit evading death as much as I could to finally get killed by an enemy or by falling in water and lose 2,000,000 Amrita, I had enough tbh.
