Nioh: Date Masamune - Stay behind him! (All weapons strategy showcase)

Just wanted to share my go-to strategy when fighting the One-Eyed Dragon since many players out there are having a hard time against him.
I find this method to be hella effective. Although it doesn't allow constant hitting (mostly due to the boss's nature), it sure does ensure an easier time staying alive, and that's crucial for coop sessions.
Keep in mind that these attacks used on his back are mostly SUGGESTIONS. The focus of this video is to show that staying behind him is a must for baiting his turnaround attack and get some damage going as many players struggle to identify his openings, believing one would have to tank every single hit in order to land some attacks of their own. Use these examples to come up with even better attack chains that best suit your playstyle/build.
Some very, very sloppy segments there, but eh you guys got the idea, right?

Easiest way to beat is spam Fuse-ushi Guardian Spirit/Moment talismans each hit will leave an opening for a critical. That's the cheesiest way. Also adding weakness talisman will make things faster

In the dojo I just run around the rock until he's out of ki then merciless barrage and final blow.

Poto2222 He must be talking about the sidequest in Osaka (Winter) where you basically 1v1 him, I think it's called The Dragon's Return. He is indeed a bit more agressive in there.

Poor guide, to evade this attacks you have to traning so much, the water spiritis close to impossible evade like a normal person. The best strategy is wait the enemy change the spirit and attack.

Lol. No. I've definitely fought some way worse bosses in much worse games. Date is just unforgivingly hard, to the point of being cheap. But there are ways to defeat him.
