NiPoGi AK2 Plus Mini PC N100 Quick Unboxing/Review Video

In this video, I'm doing a quick unboxing/review of this affordable mini-PC called NiPoGi AK2 Plus that I got from Amazon for 200 EUR. It’s quite compact in size, lightweight, and easily portable. It’s ideal to use for home, business, and some lightweight AAA games as well as indie games (more videos on performance/gameplay will follow).

When you do your review, can you confirm the following: The actual USB 3.2 port capabilities, whether Gen 1 (5Gbps) or Gen 2 (10Gbps). I suspect Gen1 with it also utilising Jurassic period USB 2.0 ports. Whether the M.2 drive is NVMe, as descriptions do not make it as clear as I would like. Additionally whether it is easily accessible for the purposes of upgrade. How efficient and loud the fan is. Whether you are able to boot to a Linux based distro from a USB flash drive, whether Linux itself, Batocera or something like Libreelec (which is often ignored by some reviewers, despite it's popularity with media consumers). These kinds of specs and performances do tend to set some N100 boxes apart from others, with the Beelink EQ12 probably being the best of the bunch so far, albeit more expensive. Those with prices closer to this, such as Trigkey, utilising USB 3.2 Gen 2 have specs that may potentially have more appeal because they offer greater levels of performance or versatility in one or two areas. I suspect that just sliding the rear lever will be enough to pop open the top to remove with your fingers, no guitar pick required. I do like such ease of use access, without the necessity to remove screws, so a +1 to this box right from the off. Loved the gaming motto at the end, which is spot on too.

Thanks for your sub as well as for the detailed and informative comment man, I really appreciate it. I will try to cover all the points you mentioned in the next video. I agree, no guitar pick is needed since the lid can be opened using that lever. After a couple of days of use, I can tell that the fan is really quiet but the WIFI 5 is not powerful enough to play online games smoothly (e.g. Roblox), so I'm having an Ethernet cable to compensate the signal loss. I'm glad you liked the motto... 😉

hello from Italy.. It has great hardware, but unfortunately the cooling system turns out to be very noisy compared to similar models. I'm telling you this because I have a j4125 with a big noise problem caused by the type of fan at the bottom of the mini PC... Anyway thanks for your review.. 👍😊

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. You're right, after a while the fan noise is getting higher. In the next couple of days, I will be reviewing another gaming mini-PC, the ACEMAGIC AMR5. 😉
