According to Nira, you’re not supposed to directly treat the eyelid. They told me “You can treat the upper eyelid by raising your eyebrow and applying laser treatment on the bone above the eye. This is safe and clinically proven.”

That is indeed correct! For your safety and optimal results, we suggest using the laser between the eyelid and the eyebrow. This area is safe for use as long as you avoid direct application to the eyelid itself. Treat the upper eyelids while keeping the eyes open. If you feel above your eyes, the bone beneath your eye brow, you can raise your eyebrow to access the upper eyelid skin by just angling the laser away from the eye and towards the eyebrow with the eyes open. Under no circumstances should we treat the eyelid with the eye closed, and under no circumstances should we angle the laser towards the eye.

I have this device and it hurts. I will only try my upper eyelid because some people are saying it killed their fat and made their skin saggy…a youtuber even says gave her Jowls she did not have before using it 😢

That’s not been my experience or the thousands in my app who use it. There are many changes that go on as we age. People can use devices as degeneration is taking place, no connection to the product but people can draw connections due to time. I’m not suggesting their experience is incorrect, only that the technology, if you understand collagen induction then creating more lose skin is not a side effect. It is powerful you don’t need to use it at the highest level. I never do

The NIRA Laser feels like a warm pulsing sensation on your skin. It should feel like warmth, not pain. Five settings enable you to adjust the laser to your skin's sensitivity. A small percentage of users experience mild stinging and discomfort due to having sensitive skin. Some customers have found that as they consistently continue using the laser, they build up a tolerance and the discomfort goes away over time. Note that applying two pulses back to back in the same location will cause pain. Be sure to move the NIRA to a new spot for each treatment. If you treat the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. We advise waiting a minute between uses, treating no more than twice in an hour, and waiting a minute between treatments. Also, when your face has moisture while using the NIRA laser, that moisture will heat up and you might feel discomfort or pain. I recommend trying to reset the device by holding down the power button for 15 seconds. Similar to a cell phone, there is a microprocessor, and it sometimes needs to be reset. Once the device is reset, try to see if it is firing again. In order for the device to fire, make sure that it is pressed completely against your skin without moving the device in the middle of a pulse. For your safety and optimal results, we suggest using the laser between the eyelid and the eyebrow. This area is safe for use as long as you avoid direct application to the eyelid itself.
