I also think sleeping on back makes a noticeable improvement for hooded eyes and overall skin wrinkles / sagging. I’m seeing slight improvements by trying to stop sleeping on my stomach - I wake up and can feel my lids being stretched on the pillowcase - also my cheeks! So bad for skin. But so hard to change how you sleep! Takes time and persistence!

Dear Angie, as usual a treasure trove of information! I'm 68 and started my skincare journey in 2020. I've learned so much from you - when people learn my age, they are shocked, saying they thought I was 10 -15 years younger. Your year end wrap-up is terrific! We benefit from all your research. Your dedication, persistence, and curiosity. So inspiring! Happy Holidays to you and your family, and to all viewers of this channel. ❤

Angie -about 8 years of following your tips, and at 60 my skin definitely looks better than when I started watching! Sunscreen, Tretinoin, Vit C, Omnilux and lots of moisture are the things I think have helped me the most over time. I share some major life trajectories with you - better quality and looking skin is a great one! xx from Bend, OR - Lisa

My skincare routine is pretty solid ( because it’s a version of yours tailored to my needs ) My focus has shifted to my total body maintenance. I added a pilates reformer and a rowing machine to my routine and I am very happy with the additions. I already spin, lift weights, do hiit training and Pilates but I felt like I needed to switch things up a bit. Here’s to looking and feeling our best as we enter the new year 🎉

Hi Angie, I'm 65 with lots of sun damage and like you I decided I had to do something about it. I've been following your channel now for 4 years, and I'm so grateful for all the information you have provided: let it be make up tips or skin care. Unfortunately, with me living in Germany, lots of products, which you recommend, are not available 😢 I really wish that Agency would expand to Europe, as it's not possible to get anything adequate here, same with Timeless...Tretinoin is missing in my skin care routine, so I have to fall back on a Retinol. Many thanks again❤

I have to admit I hesitated for a long time before signing up with Agency (I don't like subscriptions) but I have to say using the Tretinoin and Dark Spot Remover products they offer has been life changing for my 69-year-old skin. I tried every single over-the-counter dark spot remover on the market for the past 15 years with zero effect. My very prominent sun spot on my cheek is not gone but it has faded at least 50% and I am thrilled. Their Tretinoin has made my skin softer and makeup goes on more easily and lasts longer. Thank you for telling us about Agency.

Wanted to let you know that I started following your skin care recommendations about 7 years ago. I started using a red light mask and the Nuface 3 years ago. In the past couple of months, I have visited with several people that I have not seen for between 8 and 10 years. All of them commented repeatedly that I looked the same as the last time they saw me. (I don't think they were just being nice with the complement. 😄) Anyway, I am 64 now and I consider my skin care routine a success! Thank you so much for all the research and informative videos that you provide for your subscribers. It is greatly appreciated!!

For those who can't afford Agency tretinoin, I found a Retinol intense + retinal + bakuchiol serum from some by Mi (Korean. Mi means beauty) that is so gentle and it's not yellow. The yellow retinal serum makes my white hair yellow and it's hard to wash off. 🙄 I also use Korean sunscreens by Beauty of Joseon and Isntree. They both play well with foundation.

So gentle that you dont know if its working or not. Since tretinoin .1% takes 6 months to see the progress.

Hi Angie. After 3 years of watching you religiously, my hugest win is the Omnilux. I would give up coffee before I gave up my mask! Other "desert island" products for my 60+ very delicate, sensitive skin: the Haru Haru SPF and the Sukoyaka Urea. Regarding NIRA, love mine--visible improvement around eyes!--but never thought to use it on neck. Starting tonight. Thanks for all your hard work ~ J a n e

Wonderful review for 2023, Angie. Thank you for all your hard work this year! I've seen a few KZbinrs having a professional color analysis done this year, where they do a color draping test to see what colors make sense with your skin tone, undertones, eye color, and hair color. These KZbinrs were very happy with their experience and felt knowing what colors looked best on them really helped level up their look and their confidence. I was so curious, I decided to give it a try myself and made an appointment with a consultant from House of Colour. OMG, I'm so glad I did! I found out I've been using the wrong haircolor for more than a decade. YIKES!! Anyway, now I have a whole kit to help me find the right colors for my hair, makeup, and clothes. I even feel like this might be helpful when trying to decide what colors to use in my home. Your home should compliment you too, right? I would really love to know your thoughts on this, because I think your followers could really benefit from having this information. Also, my other New Year's wish for you to consider is working with Thred Up. You have really great taste in clothes, and you try so hard to provide affordable options for us. Thred Up has name brand pieces that still have the tags on them and they sell for a fraction of the ticket price. Please give it a think. I wish you a very merry Christmas, and a most prosperous new year! 🥰😘💌💕💯

I did get a bad batch of the Undefined R&R Sunscreen that I bought through Amazon. The issue wasn’t separation of the product. The product was watery! No substance at all and rolled right off your fingertips. I already had a tube going, and by the time I opened this, it was too late to return to Amazon. Too many other good products to risk buying this again.

I had a bad bottle of the Undefined sunscreen and I went through the company website to get a new bottle. I got the new bottle, and within a couple weeks, I had the same separation issue. I wanted to support them, but now- big nope.

R &R has fixed it's separation issue and is my favorite for hydrating in the winter. Australian Gold is the sunscreen that I finally became a believer. The Derma E for neck flare ups works even better with a light layer of plain petrolatum over it. For 2024 I would like to incorporate a device but need to research. Eyes and jowls...maybe Nira Precision.

I’ve been on Retin A since it first came out for acne in my 20s. Nobody knew it got rid of wrinkles. I’m 67 now my skin competes with women in their 20s believe it or not. The doctors pushing their own line of skin care and one Newport Beach dermatologist, slam Retin A because they want you using their line. Which I have bought and tossed. A waste of $600 in one case.

Four year user of Cosrx Snail Mucin. You should be using it before your moisturizer. I'm not sure you're going to see much if any result by using it after your moisturizer especially a heaven one. It was a huge game changer on my skin texture and plumpness. I started at age 61. It is a Holy Grail for me and so far to anyone I've recommended it, especially for those with dry delicate skin. Love your videos!!!

@valeriegould1769
@valeriegould1769 9 ай бұрын
@@annied5819 Yes, I use it right before my moisturizer and sunscreen. You want it as close to bare skin as you can. So for me, it is after toner, BHA, essences, Differin/Retin A, Cosrx Snail Mucin, moisturizer, sun screen. The rule of thumb is Thin to thick in terms of the viscosity of products. Cosrx Snail Mucin is pretty thin which is why you want to use it before a moisturizer and/or sunscreen. It is a holy grail product for me. If it's being used after a thick product such as a moisturizer, it's not going to do much good. I have combo skin. My T-Zone is oily but my cheeks and neck are dry. This really made a huge difference in all areas. I use it from the top of my hairline to the tops of my nipples. So all over my face, neck and decollete. It is amazing!!

Thank you, Angie! I so appreciate you and everything you have shared here over the years. I'd love to see you do a video about the theory of "competing" peptides. There's been some talk about how the the efficacy of certain targeted peptides can be reduced or even eradicated by other targeted peptides. For example, NIOD's Re:Pigment is targeted at reducing discoloration, as is Medik8's Oxy-R Peptides. Other peptides target other various concerns. So apparently, certain peptides shouldn't be used together eek! There's always something, right? Anyway, I think it's interesting and I'd love to know if there's any science behind this theory. Wishing you and all your viewers a magical holiday season ahead!

Oh I did want to piggyback on your comment about tretinoin. I used it all through my thirties because I had acne and in my early forties I had no, I mean zero wrinkles and never used Botox until 50! Then I moved to Florida about mid forties and everyone told me the tretinoin was too harsh and to stop using it right away! I stupidly listened and saw my skin rapidly age from 46 to 51 years old, hence the Botox, then I found you and got right back on it! My skin is not as youthful or wrinkle free as my early forties but I’m back on track and it’s looking better than without it! No one should tell someone to stop using it! It was a doctor’s office so I thought they knew better. Sometimes I think I would of looked so much younger if I never stopped but my New Year’s resolution is to not look back accept for insight, so, moving forward my birthday is this Saturday and I’ll be 55! I couldn’t be more happy I found you Angie! And your skincare is much more affordable than my previously used products. I adore you and always look forward to your videos! To health and happiness and of course great looking skin xoxox 😘

Just wanted to swing by and say a HUGE Thanks for all your suggestions over the years. Easily, about 70% of the products I'm using right now came at your suggestion, and I'd say that's a lot of WINS! So Thank you! I've got all my gal pals following you (and a few boys too) and especially with a lot of the performers ... help like this is golden! Quick note: I've just began with the Omnilux face mask a few weeks ago and I mentioned on another post, I'm also using on my upper arms and neck/chest, but I recently had to start PT for my back and rotator cuff and contacted the Omnilux people to see if the red lights would have any healing effect as I don't have time to waste for nothing. They got right back to me and told me it would definitely be a help, especially with anti inflammatory needs, so def more bang for the buck! I just finished my 90 days with the Nira Pro and I gotta say, while I don't really SEE a diff with before/after photographs, I most deff FEEL a difference in how smooth my face feels as well as how fast the skin bounces back when I pull it out, especially on my neck. So for that, I'm thrilled and I do think it will continue to get better, and also help the Tretinoin along as well (just gone up to 0.05... my skin is extremely sensitive and peels a lot, finally after 6 months it's calming down and getting used to T). I've also just started with the mini Trinity and will have thoughts about that as well down the road, but once again, I've used it on my shoulder as I would a tens machine and it's helping the rotator cuff pain! I do feel like a science project, haha, but thought I'd share these little tidbits as I'm always experimenting. Anyway Angie, once again, thanks and have a gorgeous Holiday!🎄

I took your advice to use Tretinoin and was using prescription .05% strength from my dermatologist, but could never find that sweet spot of benefit/versus irritation. When you began to recommend the Agency products, I hesitated because I’m not big on subscriptions, but I finally did two months ago and truly noticed a difference within just 2 weeks. I so appreciate your videos Angie and find you and your recommendations to be legit! Thank you!

Love your channel and have pretty much implemented your entire skincare routine-going to give Agency a try this year. I have held off because I too have extremely sensitive skin, but think it’s definitely time to introduce to my ongoing skin care. Thank you for all that you do-the research and time that you put into your honest reviews is so helpful. One thing I would like to hear about are in-office skin treatments-microdermabrasion, micro-needling, facials-are these treatments worth it, or something that can be remedied at home? Happy holidays! Look forward to watching you in 2024!

Did I hear you right? You turned 50 eleven years ago?! You must be doing something right because you look amazing -- I'm sure you're told this all the time. Your channel received several recommendations in the comments section for another YT channel and I'm glad I found this helpful video as a result. Thank you! I just turned 55 and I've started to notice sagging skin, especially under the eyes, around my mouth, chin, jowls, etc. I thankfully have fewer wrinkles -- my greater concern is the overall "structure" (for lack of a better word) of my facial skin. I'm considering purchasing a home device (NuFace, Myolif, etc) but have no idea where to start. So many products and I'm sure many are total ripoffs. For someone who's never used any of these products (I have my preferred skin creams, serums, sunscreen, etc) and knows very little about these home devices, what's the one product you recommend I try that's under $500? Edit: I worked as a lifeguard thru my highschool & college summers and like you mentioned, I literally cringe when I think about the sun damage I subjected my skin to 😱 Thanks for this channel!

Yep, I'm 61! Can't believe it myself sometimes, because my brain still thinks it's 35 😂 I'm so happy you found me! Of the devices I use I feel the OmniLux mask gives the best results. It's red light & near-infrared light LEDS that have been shown to improve collagen production & collagen density! I started seeing results in about a month of using one! I have a discount code for 10% off if you're interested, it's HF10.

I had been a sun worshipper and tanning salon, worshipper for years, although my face would actually be covered in a tanning salon. That being said, when I got serious about skincare, and started using retinol/tretinoin and sunscreen for years now, my skin has never looked better and I’m told I look younger than my 58 years. Don’t get me wrong. I still have my fine lines but they are much less noticeable, especially with the retinol, so consistency and dedication to skin care is key.

I finally got my hands on the R&R sunscreen in the light tint! I had the dark one when it was the only one they had and loved it but the light tint seems to be reformulated an is even better. I have tried a bunch of Asian sunscreens including Haruharu but nothing is a good as the R&R under makeup. For some reason anything that is like a lotion or cream decreases the wear time of my makeup but the R&R has a beautiful finish that makes my makeup look so much better and lasts all day!

Hi! I’ve been a follower of both this channel and you’re wonderful advice for years, and wanted to thank you so much for all you do to help all of us look our best!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I don’t know if this is already on your radar, but since starting HRT last year and seeing so many benefits from it, I’ve noticed there are a few companies that are starting to advertise estrogen topical face creams on Instagram, and would love for you to put your critical-investigative-thorough mind and approach to understanding if these have any benefits and/or which are the best for your skin. They are all prescription, so I’d love some perspective before I start a prescription service. Especially because I’m worried about the other ingredients in the creams and if they’re irritating or have other issues. Anyway, please keep doing what you do so beautifully!! I’m so grateful for you!! ❤❤❤

I settled on the Elta Md Uv Elements Tinted spf. I need something water-resistant, sensitive skin friendly, that looks nice under makeup and that fits the bill. I'm fed up of trying sunscreens to be honest. The other water-resistant one I use is the Elf Invisible spf, which has a matte finish and a primer texture. I still have the Beauty of Joseon Sun rice spf as my only not water-resistant spf, but Im still figuring out if it breaks me out or not. Its very lightweight and dewy in a fresh, delicate way that works for my oily skin. It would be nice to have to wear under matte foundations. Well see. TY For your suggestions

Thanks for going over again what you have tried and what has actually made a difference! I kept hearing about the Zip but I already had a NuFace and loved it, so I was thrilled to hear your review because I really didn’t think I needed another device that kinda did the same job as the NuFace. I did upgrade my NuFace and I do love it! I tried the other makeup remover but I really like the Clinic one better. When I think that some people pay as much as $50 for face products I wonder why they haven’t found that you can get results from a bottle that cost maybe $30 but will lasts for months, of course they haven’t been watching your Chanel which I always recommend for them to do so. Thanks for always giving us such honest in depth reviews! ❤️

Unpopular opinion - considering how most people blame sun as the nr 1 skin enemy, I find your skin in the before picture still really beautiful. Considering you tanned for decades, your skin at 50 looks phenominal. I’ve never been in the sun that much and only 35, but I feel my skin would look very bad without procedures. This just goes to show how much genetics impact our looks.
