One of the greatest live performances I ever saw was Sketch Show at Sonar in Barcelona. Such a joy to find this video!

The person who dislikes this - I want to chase them down, comfort them and feed them fresh, ripe strawberries and whipped cream, because they must be really fucking miserable :(

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and presume that the thumbs down was due to the fact that they had a ticket for this very show, but on the way to the concert, they fainted at the mere prospect of being in the same room as Takahashi & Hosono and subsequently missed the whole thing. The memory is just too painful for them.

Why are there Swedish lyrics in this song, and who wrote them? I don't know Japanese, but Japanese line 3 & 4 seems to have similar meanings as Swedish lines 1& 2 (according to Google Translate) (I'm a Swedish YMO fan, by the way)
@NireHiroki4 жыл бұрын
Both Japanese and Swedish lyrics have the same meanings, just as you said. These Swedish lyrics are translated and chanted by Chiho SHIBAOKA.

NireHiroki Was it Chiho SHIBAOKA who came up with the idea to include Swedish?
@NireHiroki4 жыл бұрын
@@pendax At the time Messrs. TAKAHASHI and HOSONO were interested in Swedish electronica music, so they asked Ms. SHIBAOKA, who had been working at the Embassy of Japan in Sweden, about Swedish culture. And then, fascinated by her beautiful voice, they decided to have these lyrics chanted in Swedish by herself. In fact she is not a musician nor a singer, but after this work (originally released in 2003 on the album "LOOPHOLE") she also participated by her Swedish voice in some songs of Mr. TAKAHASHI's album "BLUE MOON BLUE" in 2006.

@@NireHiroki She also sang in Swedish on the song "Laika" by the Japanese band "Pupa", from 2008. Highly recommend that song as well.
