No offense here. FM talked about decreasing excise duty on petrol twice but people forgot about that they increased the excise duty 10 times from 9rs in 2014 to 28rs in 2022. As DMK promised , they reduced 3rs when they came to power. As a summary , In 2014, central excise duty was 9rs and state vat was 15rs and In 2022, CED is 28 and state vat is 21rs. You can see the difference now.
