@@Ankurkumar-tt6rx knowledge hai isliye comment kiya hai bewakoof.. flower ek natural chiz hai.. jo apne aap dispose bhi ho jati jai... usse itna pollution nahi hota murakh aadmi.. Real pollution factory chemicals se hota... Ye sab business industry walo ke chochle hai.. kisi bhi natural chiz pe kuch thop dete hai

Not a joke brother atleast you could have asked someone who knows, then commented this. Flower is natural and it will decay that is true but main problem lies in two things. 1. Pesticides and fertilizers used in flowers might get into the river water. ( If they were used in huge quantities) 2. As tons of flowers thrown in rivers, upon decaying it will release nutrients to river water, thus alage and other aquatic plants growth will boom ( excessive growth) , thus decreasing oxygen quantity in the river which will affect other aquatic life and their habitat ( fish, plants, other aquatic animals etc ) , which is a serious issue. Government is spending a lot in keeping the river clean, that also include to stop immersing tons of flowers in rivers and also they cleaned those.
