That “I like you” at the end of the chorus is what makes me love this song, so amazingly sung
@erwinlopez83682 жыл бұрын
Kurt was one of a kind,, if music wasn’t a thing and the first rhythms heard were these ppl would consider him like Mozart or van goh,, and dude had some of the best lyrics too,, more poetic than Edgar allen himself… but since music had already been invented he just gets bracketed of into a certain category of it,, but I’m reality he/they were fkn amazing so many songs are good,, shit better than good if anything,, usually ppl just make like one or two good songs n feel accomplished. He was also kind of an activist,, like when that girl got kidnapped after one of their shows… somebody else would have tried sweeping it under the rug but naw he actually had a benefit concert for that situation. Goddamn Courtney love ruined him lol,, like his suicide not had two types of writings on it like ok than.. ppl make it seem like “he was clearly depressed” therefore wat investigation but yea man. Lord knows,, for a career cut short he actually accomplished quite alot. Making us quite somber muthafuckas look good again lol RIP Kurt Cobain!!

One thing i always loved about Nirvana's music was Kurt's execution of harmony. This song in particular displays good use of it. Lyrics, I never knew what the hell this song was about as a teen until many years later. My guess was co-dependency in relationships. He had a way with words in this one. A lot of what sounds like dirty love making.

"A teavel through a tube and end up in your affection" "Chew your meat for you"- metaphor for your body eating itself for nutrients. (Why we get skinny) "With eyes so dilated ive become your pupil"- aside from being a great double entendre; its also a common occurence for us drug users 🧐 This guys sont writing is, rip Kurt unparalleled
