most videos say put your first finger in the first fret and play from there but you totally made it easier with this tutorial

Is there an alternative for the cord on the 11th fret? The body of my guitar is blocking my hand from playing barcords that far up xD.

I guess you can try the tenth and maybe play the power chord version so you’re not missing out on the higher pitch

thx, 10th sounds off. Iam now just tilting the gituar up and because of the angle I can just about make the shape on the 11th, it's a bit awkward but with practice I feel it will get easier.

*I found out you can also play the shape of the barcord on the 6th fret but move it all one string down when needing to play that 11th. It sounds close.

Just wondering, if i were to apply this but on an electric guitar and had all the pedals necessary. Would it sound basically almost identical to the original song?

The original for electric guitar is played with different cords im pretty sure. I don’t think kurt played it like this

You can play it on the 5th string as well. 3rd fret power chord to 6th fret power chord on the 5th string should do it. C to Eb are those chord names

teaching on a single string is terrible and you are doing more harm to new guitarists than helping them.

Not true. It's to teach beginners how to play barre chords on the 6th string. If that's the only way you play them then yeah, it may not be efficient but if you use this idea correctly on both the 6th and 5th strings you are accomplishing a lot.
