They're was something about them, the way they fit together is unexplainable, they way they spoke it was completely different and all and all they were down to earth together. There will never be another Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic or Dave grohl.

Imagine what Kurt Cobain would think of the music industry today & the Internet & all the generic mindless EDM Pop.
@HiramSalinas8 жыл бұрын
King Prince EDM is great , but I agree that there's generic music spewing out. I think kurt would have liked the idea of people posting there own music on the Internet. dosent get anymore independent than posting music on SoundCloud , or youtube.

The guy doing the interview is one of the luckiest men ever - he actually got to talk to a genius. I'm swedish and I was born in 1996 - I'm jealous at the people that got to experience Nirvana and Kurt. Wish I had been born 20 years earlier...

Dave: "Burger, Burger, Burger, fries." ... "wonder if I could make a decent front man. play my guitar and ditch these drums. foo yeah! *smiles & makes slight head bang motions while looking around at his invisible, future crowd of screaming fans* ... "Burger!" ... "wtf was that? are there fooing sharks in here?" ... "maybe if I tip this boat we can be done with the endless empty, mindless chatter & I can go get a Burger." ... *singing in head (IRONICALLY)* "...if everything could ever feel this real forever, if anything could ever be this good again... hey, not bad! I need to write that down." ... "BURGER!" ... I love Dave Grohl so much & this interview just adds on to his epic awesomeness!

The way Kurt explained it all and the reporter stupidly said the same thing and put the mike back for Kurt to agree with his genius but Kurt ignored him. Nirvana really made me realize who I am and that I should basically not give a single fuck to anything or anyone who I'm not genuinely interested in/find important. They basically taught me to cut the crap and do what I really want to do. And that has been one of the greatest things that ever happened to me, I feel more free than ever. Life is so simple when you get the hang of it. So bloody thankful for this band

It's obvious that right now the world needs a new movement that will make a huge impact on music history, like punk rock and grunge did. And there's nothing much around at the minute in terms of a new life-changing genre, except for the recycled scenes which are floating about (the huge wave of acoustic guitar-wielding singer songwriters and the nu-folk scene in London) or, um, dubstep. I was just wondering; what exactly is there that hasn't already been done?

Dave is too fucking cute man what a space cadet. He has me giggling throughout this interview. 2:12 He's either tripping on acid or just tripping on himself. @TheGatorfan93 Extreme didn't have 'wealth and status', mainly because the kind of record deal they signed ensured they barely broke even once they'd finished touring, since the expenses would be paid from record sales, and because the change in mainstream music ensured that their later releases wouldn't sell. Just because Extreme were a different style doesn't mean they didn't want to play and enjoy the music any less than these guys.

It only sucks because people don't do what Kurt is saying in this video. He's saying it's sad that people can't find indie bands when it's not that hard to find. People have to have the music "thrown into their faces." That is the main point of the interview. It's not that dave is looking at the sky and kurt has his jacket over his head. Most people just sit there and dwell on the fact the kurt's dead and will never know good music anymore, when there is good music, it's just not mainstream.
