It’s nice to see adults still commenting about their nostalgia, my mother showed me nirvana, doors, Jonis Joplin and other bands as such since I was a kid… she now always brags that I still like these older bands and I know she feels proud for my music taste, it’s amazing how music can bring us all together, make a mother proud for her child’s taste, make someone feel nostalgic, inspired or just happy. I think one of the reason why Nirvana's songs hit you hard is because you can feel Kurt's sensitivity: pain, loneliness and despair in his voice. That can't be taught or replicated.

Nirvana has become my favorite band of all time. Beat out Lynyrd Skynyrd and I am from Florida, the birthplace of Lynyrd Skynyrd. And old at 59 this year.
