@@captain_efurd4502the pain is not from heroin withdrawals , it's from not having pain relief for a severely painful stomach disease. This is a common misconception when it comes to drug use - that the person isnt self medicating, and that they are just "taking drugs for the fun of it" and then we label their symptoms as the drug instead of the actual root cause of the usage of the drugs. He was self medicating severe physical pain as well as severe mental illness, just trying to find relief and live comfortably. The police took away medicine he found had worked for him safely shortly before he ended his suffering during a mental health episode. Stigma surrounding drug use is such a plague.

Courtney Love and Dave Grohl got rid of him so that Dave could have the Foo Fighters and Courtney could have all of Kurt's money. That's my own theory anyway! it's sad to see kurt perform so static, all energy he had back in the late 80s early 90s was absolutely gone, also is sad that Pat Smear had joined Nirvana around 93 i wish he could have been more time with the band, and is so damn frustrating that mental diseases are now a thing, almost 30 years after Kurt passed away, he was treated many times for his "addictions" but nobody never tried to reach him to get to the bottom of the matter, what was on his head, because addictions or substance abuse are a consequence, mostly people evade themselves from traumas, bad time in life, job stress and so on, maybe if Kurt was treated for whatever was hurting him inside, drugs won't have been a thing and Nirvana would still be alive today with Kurt Cobain having a normal life

Drugs are the worst thing ever if you are not mentally stable, I can speak from experience. Make you feel great when you are on them, when you're back sober you feel worse than you did before. takes me back to an angry confused teenager in the mid 1990's in America. Where Nirvana was my guiding light thru everything. Its funny years later i look back and watch these Nirvana shows and hear the music and find truth in it all, it defines me as a person then and now. Long live Kurt and Nirvana. bring the 90s back please.
@charlitoguzman64143 жыл бұрын
Kurt along with the entire band from Nirvana changed the music industry from what it was back in the late 80's,to what we liked and supported in the early 1990's. We quickly went from,"JUMP" from David Lee Roth and Van Halen to,"Smells like Teen Spirit" Nirvana over night. It quickly changed the music sceen from long hair garage rock bands to Seattle new wave Grunge rock bands. It was a generational change that flipped the music industry completely around and if your band was from Seattle and your music was Grunge/Alternative rock you could make a huge name for yourself. All the band's we seen come from Seattle in the late 80's/ early 90's like Nirvana,Pearl Jam,Soundgarden,Alice in Chains all changed the music industry back then. But it was Nirvana first who received all the recognition and changed music as we knew it back then. It was amazing to see that's for sure. I love all those bands and listen to them each and every day.

IICR, Kurt Cobain planned on retiring in late 1994/early 1995 after a last tour and album. He also wanted to live quietly and raise his daughter, possibly occassionaly releasing solo albums for fun on his own time. That's what I remember from dial-up internet in the mid/late 90s when I was researching into his death.

This performance was recorded on 23 February 1994, during Nirvana's tour in Italy, and was broadcast on 27 February in RAI's Channel 3, on the 4th episode of "Tunnel" (a satire and counter-culture show aimed at young people). On that same day, Nirvana also recorded a live performance of "Dumb", which was only broadcast posthumously on 1st May 1994 (during the live covering of "Primo Maggio" festival on RAI's Channel 1). That accounts as Kurt's last TV appearance to be released .

What really sucks about this video is how good is sounds. It’s my favorite version of this song, but it’s sad to hear just how good they were and how much better they could’ve been if Kurt hadn’t died. Despite anyone’s opinion on how he died, it doesn’t bring him back. He showed what was possible when you do the simple things really well. I taught myself guitar through Metallica, but Nirvana rounded out my skill in chord progressions and arpeggios because of their simplicity. A lot of people might not get that. I just imagine what could’ve been done in a 4th album. If the song, “You Know You’re Right” is any indication, it really could’ve their most visceral and hard-hitting album because Kurt found another way to do the simple things really well. Plus the songwriting help from Dave and Krist would’ve been fun to watch in a mix with Kurt. Also really sad to see how much fun he had performing in Nirvana and how much Krist changed after losing his best friend. RIP Kurt Cobain. Thanks for all the music you gave us. I really wish you had lived to see how much you inspired people like me, even if I was born in 1999
