Nice performance. It could use some better miking of the room, but solid playing and singing. My old band had a recording of a Nirvana cover we call the 'moo' recording. I could only do one, maybe two takes tops, before my voice was shot, so we'd always save anything like that until the end of practice. We had a room mic. We told the bassist not to sing backup. He was kind of inconsistent and we figured even with a room mic all on one track we could always add it in afterwards. So, anyway, it was the end of practice and we wanted to get a recording in. My voice was already in rough shape so we were only going to get one shot at it. It sounded amazing in the room. The bass player did sing, but it sounded okay. Then we played it back. The microphone was closest to him and picked him up way, way louder than anything else... loud enough that if you weren't expecting it and you were listening back you'd jump when you heard it. "Something in the way... OOO OOO". The recording sounded like an homage to that interrupting cow knock knock joke. Band broke up before next practice and we never did get a good take.

Mate this was recorded in my living room using a Motorola E20 phone !! 🤣 No mics only the phone , I'm working on my living room and gonna be setting it up as a studio the start of the year so audio will improve ,,,it's a minefield mixing things up but to be fair these days straight into a mixer and into a daw in my room to record with my kids will do fine ,,,, to record a album that would be very different 😊🤘😎

Great job gentleman, this is one of the better jobs of someone covering kurts voice. I use to think shaun morgan from seether was closest to kurt, but this beats him. This is coming from a die hard nirvana fan. I heard some of your other nirvana covers, great job as well, not that you need my criticism, but only thing i can say is, you dont hear your sons voice as good in some of the other videos. Keep up those covers, love the channel
