His only big win over Novak - Novak was tetchy as his wife was expecting their first. That’s not an excuse. Kei didn’t have the weapons against Cilic however.

Let's go Safiullin
@got2bharmonyАй бұрын
Seriously, does anyone know why Safiullin has gone backwards over the past 18 months? He reached quarter finals of Wimbledon in 2023, beaten only by Sinner in majestic form, and was looking very promising, big serve and big groundstrokes. He seems so inconsistent nowadays and rather sluggish around the court. He was a top junior hampered by injury on the ATP circuit before he had a resurgence in 2022/3.
@vinny6_9Ай бұрын
@@got2bharmony his mental is in the gutter right now. needs to win some matches to regain composure and consistency. he did well right before USO and i was hoping to see him do well but he went on to lose to Arnaldi... Karatsev has been having a terrible season as well (granted he had a bad knee injury to blame for this).
