They make offset bushings to fit S14 subframes into S13s.. you just bent your subframe studs. Boiiiiiiii

That’s an s14 subframe. S13’s didn’t have diff bushings. As you can see that new one has bushings for the diff. They sell special bushings to adapt the subframe properly. They’re like offset a little bit.

S14 subframe is not meant to go into an S13 without offset bushings, you may have bent the subframe mounts on the S13 by forcing it in there.

Subframe bushings are great fun. Replace them with Poly, or solid bushings. If the poly ones go, at least they're 10x easier to replace - no burning them out or that shit. I'm big fan of poly bushings in all control arms. Far better than rubber.

If you press down the brake pedal with a breaker bar before breaking open the brake system it will hold all the fluid in the master and not leak as much and then you don't have to crush the softline with that clamp.

It may have been an S14 subframe after all. You definitely want to revisit that, forcing it could bend the studs or cause them to break. Badnewsbears after that. Look for some s13 to s14 offset bushings
