Thank You sooo much. My 2015 Altima started this today. As a woman I am glad I could get this done with my own two hands.

Excellent instructions! That fix has probably lowered my blood pressure considerably - it's amazing how annoying that clicking sound can be.

Your video saved me almost $600. That's what the automotive repair place wanted to charge me for a new HVAC blower motor. More than likely they would have done just what you did and still charge me for a new motor! Thanks for the video! 👍🏾

Omg! You just saved me from an anxiety attack! Just purchased the car Friday and thought there was a mayor issue. You just showed me it simple and easy. Mine is a 2017 Nissan Altima. I thought I’d cost me a ton. I can better afford a screw driver. Thank you so much!

Love it. Thanks mate. I’m going to give it a try. Nissan quoted me 140$ diagnosis fees + $140/hr to fix it depending on how much time it takes. Appreciate the help.

I did everything up to 2:20 then instead of removing last three screws I pushed the ac button to redirect airflow and a small door opened. I took a small grabber tool and pulled out a piece of plastic wrap that was making the clicking sound. Thanks for the video.

I had to log in just to say thank you. The ticking in my 2010 Nissan Murano was driving me nuts. Great short video to the point and showed me exactly what to do. I can't even think of how much a garage/mechanic would have charged me to fix. Thank you!

Ok...16 hours after my comment last night. I tackled this early this morning, super easy job thankfully (quite a few things in my Altima Coupe make me mental when it comes to certain repairs, especially with larger hands..- eye roll- ) But breathing a sigh of relief, I had the same exact problem. Bunch of leaves, tiny stick inside. Got it all out, short brief puffs of air compressor through the blades knocking off some dirt. Noise it totally gone, in fact its been a while since it's been this quiet! No need to drop a bunch of $$$ on a new motor thankfully! Thanks for this video..really appreciate this!! Happy Holidays!

Thank you thank you thank you! Wanted to share 2 additional notes: 1) +1 to having someone help. It was much easier to have my son hold the blower up against the housing while securing the three screws you had mentioned. 2) After going through this process the first time, the AC didn't start at all. It turns out that I had misaligned the blower when re-screwing it into place. On the second pass, I got help + made sure that the blower was flush against the surface (you should see a "tooth" appear next to each of the three holes where the screws belong.)
@AreteAdventures8 жыл бұрын
This solved my problem as well. Thanks! One thing to note: when I reinstalled my blower and turned on the car, the blower was not working at all. I turned off the car and pushed on the blower. It clicked into place, which got it working again.

To add to this video. I had the same same problem so I cleaned out the blower motor, while I had everything taken apart (the glove compartment) I changed the Cabin Air Filter. A lot of the same stuff that was caught in the blower motor was in the old filter. So changing the filter as well can prolong the built up that will get into the blower motor. Wish I could take a pic of the filter and show you all how it looked. The filter is suppose to be white but it was black, full of dirt, and twigs, even a few small dead bugs.
