How did you get to the last two bolts of the oil pan? I'm having trouble getting to those two bolts that are almost inside the transmission

They are actually studs, and their nuts take washers too. Years ago, like many, I broke the dipstick off. In a rash fit, I drove the broken stick into the tube. I figured, why stop there, so I broke the tube off at the block. Well, I was good and fried by this point so I had my mechanic drop the oil pan in order to push it out. Yes, now the pan leaks badly and I'm probably going to have to try again with a new pan. I'll let you know what I discover, I think my Tekton wobble extensions will do the trick, but I'm concerned about torque spec. Looks like about a grand over a broken dipstick.

there is a cover plate for viewing the transmission flex plate, remove the cover and you can access those two nuts

Good job, I got a similar issue with my 2002 sentra, unfortunately I haven't found where the leak is coming from, it looks like it is the same problem you had, because the alternator pulley and the cover of it behind has plenty of oil, also the belt has been sprayed with oil that I guess comes from the leak is, and it's squealing, did you find exactly where the leak was coming from in your case? Thanks

In my case the leak was coming from the timing cover, firewall side. If it's not readily visible on yours, start by cleaning from the valve cover down because a leak goes down from the top. You can use acetone or any other cleaner and drive it for a few minutes until you can see where it comes from. It's pretty tough to see where it's coming from when everything is covered with dirt and grime.
