All New 2024 Nissan Frontier Features Shocked everyone!
-----------------------------
Let’s be honest, the Frontier has usually been the second and sometimes even the last option for some, often being overshadowed by the Toyota Tacoma. But not anymore. There is a growing demand for a simple truck that just does what it needs to do, without all the extra useless features. Nissan just did that and giant companies like Toyota can’t do the same. That is why Toyota always chooses to collaborate with Nissan on big projects.
But now they will be rivals and this will change everything for us. So here is everything you need to know about the new frontier that shocked everyone.

I just traded in my 2013 Frontier SV 4X4 for a Silverado 1500 turbo diesel. The Frontier was very reliable and the 4.0 V6 was a strong engine but it got poor gas mileage and had a very restricted towing range. The Silverado was ridiculously spendy but is so much nicer to drive and tow with. Now I get 16mpg towing and 29+mpg on the highway and the truck practically drives itself which is nice for long interstate trips. It's nice having a highway driving range of over 700 miles.

Tim, thanks for all u do. Nice truck! I like buying 3 - 4 year old trucks with below average miles and never paid kbb retail as it is $5 to $7k over KBB trade in. depending on several factors. Hope you get a fair deal. Out of the Toyota and the Ford, did you make a video of why you like this the best? I missed that . I would love to hear your thoughts. Reliability and efficiency are two main attractions that I look to keep money in my pocket. I was swindled thinking a ecoboost would be reliable and with all the issues I have had, this new Nissan hardbody has me considering. I just cannot afford $165 per hour of labor. Oil leaks are to damn expensive.

I'll be in the market for a truck like this in a year. I love the simplicity and V6. In a year, maybe Ford will actually be building their 2024s and I can get an employee discount, but the turbo 4 scares me - it's the 1980s all over again. Just like the Tacoma. The Nissan may be the perfect solution for me.

I had many 1968 and 1969 Datsun pickups. I loved the compact simplicity. I hope the new Hardbody comes with locking differentials, though for daily driving, front and rear limited slip differentials would be more than adequate. A powerful yet simple V6 suits my current needs, as I have enjoyed the 2001 3.5 V6 5-speed Pathfinder for the past 12 years. PS : A front locker and rear limited slip would be ideal.

As a 2023 Pro 4x owner I can say I am so far very happy with the Frontier. Hydraulic power steering, no fancy gimmicks but enough technology to keep up to date. If feels like a truck, is very comfortable and who can argue against a naturally aspirated V6 engine for better reliability. Poor thing is the awful cruise control.

What bothers me about all midsize pickups is they are only available with four doors and five foot bed. I still drive a 2011 Ford Ranger with the "mini doors" and space for toolboxes etc. behind the seats but not really for people. But it does have a six foot bed so i can use it for what a truck is supposed to be used for - loading with stuff in the long(er) bed and secure storage behind the front seats without space being taken up with seats. I remember when Nissan made a long bed (I think it was 8 feet) midsize pickup. It was a great TRUCK, not a glorified SUV with a tiny bed. Oh, to have that back again. Sigh...

Why not a small v8 with the nine speed, longer bed with the highest towing capacity in its class. Also needs a ton of aftermarket parts to come like larger fuel tank for more range. I should be able to get 500 miles minimum on a tank of fuel. Also a realy good sound system then I'm in 👍

Standard transmission is more reliable with less issues if your automatic transmission starts to fail you end up replacing the whole transmission not rebuilding it, I have a 94 Nissan hardbody probably one of the best trucks I’ve owned. If Nissan keeps everything simple than they would have a superior product.

I have a 2011 Frontier SL w/120K miles. Still runs like the day I bought it. I’ll be getting a new Frontier, eventually. Got to pay off my wife’s 23 Pathfinder first.

Go manual, or go minivan. 🚐 Nissan needs to wow us with an overbuilt manual transmission on the Frontier. Automatics are great for people who can’t operate a vehicle competently, but terrible for those who value total control of the vehicle and skillful operation of it.
